Keira POV

I was done with the meal. The little appetite that I came out with had now vanished. My food was only half finished.

"Eat up, Keira!" Nox ordered firmly. "We don't want to keep them waiting."

"I may be your prisoner, but you don't own my body!" I said.

His face became expressionless. Eyes like purple sapphire held mine without blinking. I suddenly recalled the last time we met in the woods. This was the same look he'd given me.

Then it hit me. That moment was the day he decided to bring battle to my pack. I was sure of it. The feeling of Aria stirring inside me returned, making me shift in my seat. I looked away from him, picking up the wine glass in front of me.

"Becareful what you say to me, Luna Keira," he said at last, his voice calm and without malice.

"I remember how you begged me to stop thinking you're my enemy-"
