Amber’s voice is shaky as she says, “What do you mean?” She knew exactly what he meant, but she wanted to hear him say it. Alessandro smirks, and he moves away from her, although it took every fiber in his body to walk away, he did. Right before setting foot out of the room, he says, “Get ready, I’ll be waiting outside.”Amber gets her breathing steady and takes her sweet time to suppress her wicked thoughts. She dresses herself up in the gear that he had left on the bed. She rings Lilly. “Today is your day off,” she says. “Oh, but I’m already waiting outside,” Lilly says in a rather unsettling tone. “Well, you’ve got to leave,” Amber says before ending the call.Alessandro and Amber eat breakfast together in a nearby cafe. They order pancakes and Amber makes sure to tease him by asking the waiter for honey. Then, she traces the honey all over her lips and licks it slowly. Alessandro gapes for a split second as she recalls their first kiss. Amber’s pov:Two can play the game, Mr. Bia
Amber's pov: “Amber, is this not a good time?” Bianca asks from the other side of the door. I use her as my route to escape from my world of desires. “I’ll be there in a few minutes, Bee,” I tell her looking right at his perfectly sculpted face. “Later, Mr. Bianchi,” I whisper into his ear before taking off. As I freshen up, I think about how Alessandro always gets me worked up, but this time, I turned the arrow towards him despite his try at shooting it towards me. I step out of the room and see Bianca seated at the table. For the first time, there is no sign of pain on her face. I feel glad that she has made it this far. “Bianca, what did you have to talk about?” I ask as I sit down right next to her. “Be honest with me when I ask you this,” she asks with a shimmer of hope in her eyes, “Is my face asymmetric?” I take her hands in mine, and say, “Your face might be symmetric, or asymmetric, it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that you accept yourself for who you are.
Alessandro’s pov: The Next Day: Last night, we didn’t go any further than kissing, and yet she’s all I want. I’ve never felt that kind of magnetism with anyone else. She stopped me right before I unbuckled my belt, and although every inch of my body wanted to feel her body against mine, I stopped and let her go. Ever since I’ve gone to bed, the scene repeats in my head constantly, and I haven't slept a wink. She’s off to work already, but I am hesitant to get out of bed, which is very unlike me. I take a warm shower and get ready. I am slacking on my schedule for the first time in years, and I don’t regret it. I reach the Pentanova’s house. We meet in the study. The room has an antique touch to it with gramophones, ancient bookshelves with cobwebs, and whatnot. “Javed,” I greeted him with a handshake, “Any leads?” He lets out a low sigh, and says, “No, not yet, but something interesting has been discovered.” He orders everyone to leave the room. “We both know that Amos had grea
Amber’s pov:I didn't want to start with topics involving his father, I’d rather stick to the relationships as of now. “At what age did you have your first girlfriend?” I asked placing my hands on my thighs. “I’ve never had a girlfriend,” he says with a sharp tone. “So you’re the one-night stand kind of guy?” I ask shaking my legs. “Not necessarily, let's just say I hadn't found the right woman,” he says with a smirk. “What about you?” He asks curiously. “I’ve had a few...My first one was when I was eighteen, he was an artist,” I say, taking a sip of the champagne. “How did you break up?” He asks. “He cheated on me,” I say as the waiter serves us. “His loss,” he says picking up the fork. Just to put him through a little test, I say, “I wouldn’t blame him, I wasn't ready to take things to the bedroom.” He is taken aback by my response, then he says, “That is not a reason to cheat on someone.” Yeah, he passed. I ask interrogatively, “Would you wait for me?” He smirks, “I would, but I
“Amber?” Mother Kenna Williams stands in front of her with a smile on her face. “Mother,” she cries hugging her. “I’m proud of you,” Kenna says as she plants a kiss on little Amber’s head. “I miss you,” Amber says tears dropping like crystal shards, “I love you so much.” Kenna smiles, and says, “I love you too, know that I’m always here for you.”As Amber’s watery browns open, she realizes that she’s laying on Alessandro's broad and muscular chest. She is pleased with her dream. Her hands draw circles around Alessandro’s nipples unintentionally. “Amber..” he bites his lower lip, and her eyes shoot up to look at him. She smirks knowing that she had discovered his delicate spot. Then, she moves away from him and into the bathtub. By the time she cleanses herself, Alessandro is off to his duty. She eats breakfast with Bianca, heads to work, and gets on with the portraits of the two people as requested by Killian. Amber’s pov:My phone rings, “Hello?” I ask without looking at the screen

Amber's pov: I reach for his pecks, but he pushes me off and walks out. I follow him into the room and see him equip himself with guns from one of the lockers. I turn my back towards him as he changes into his gear. He walks down to the hall and converses with Harlow as he loads the gun. All I can do I check him out from outside the room. He’s a fine piece of art. What is wrong with me? I have never been like this for any man, but he drives me insane in every possible way. I shake those thoughts off me and freshen up. After he leaves, and Harlow retires to his room, I eat breakfast and focus on work. The first portrait, one of a famous hockey player, should be gotten over with today. After all, it is Thursday already. Lunchtime arrives, and I am driven to the Golden Paradise Hotel. “So, let’s get to the point, rules,” I demand smiling at him. “Eager much?” He cocks a brow, then clears his throat and states, “Rule number one, the wives must be treated with respect. Rule number two, n
Amber’s pov: “Well, thank you,” I say before cutting the call. That's considerate of him…Not going to lie, I am impressed. I bite my lips thinking about him, then I break out of it, and reach the table for a meal. Ugh, I don’t want to eat today. But I'm so hungry. Whatever. I take a picture of yesterday’s painting and send it to Killian asking him if it's okay. He responds with a voice message saying, “Okay? Are you kidding? It’s a masterpiece!” I smile, and despite my hurting back, work on the large canvas. After an hour, I feel exhausted, so I get back into bed. The sheets are changed, so they’re back to the stainless white beauty. “Amber..” Bianca enters with a glass filled with red liquid in her hand, “Drink this.” She hands it over to me. “Thank you, but what’s this?” I ask her staring at the glass. “Pomegranate juice, my mother used to drink it when she got bad cramps. I’m lucky to never have that kind of discomfort, but I remember her recipe.” This might be the most that she
