Chapter 15: Play Fight

Alessandro’s pov:

Amber flashes a weak smile at Julia. “You’ve got a great one, Alessandro, she plays it cool for the cameras,” Julia chuckles as she stares at me. My hands are ready to knock her out, but her family’s alliance with mine forces me to keep my cool. “Julia, I will not repeat myself, leave,” I say. She winks at me and says, “You know where to find me.” I take Amber’s hand in mine and walk her out of the hall.

“Amber, are you okay?” I ask her when I notice that the smile which was there on her face an hour ago is missing. “Yes, I am, because it is normal to have your husband sleeping around with women,” she says avoiding eye contact. “Did I ever pledge you my loyalty?” I ask her as I turn on the engine. “No, you did not, but what if someone saw you with them?” She asks looking straight ahead. “Them?” I question in confusion. “Lilly and Julia,” she says buckling up. “I’ve only slept with Lilly once, and it was a month ago,” I scoff, “We weren’t even together back then.”
