Chapter 20: Foggy Mind

“Amber?” Mother Kenna Williams stands in front of her with a smile on her face. “Mother,” she cries hugging her. “I’m proud of you,” Kenna says as she plants a kiss on little Amber’s head. “I miss you,” Amber says tears dropping like crystal shards, “I love you so much.” Kenna smiles, and says, “I love you too, know that I’m always here for you.”

As Amber’s watery browns open, she realizes that she’s laying on Alessandro's broad and muscular chest. She is pleased with her dream. Her hands draw circles around Alessandro’s nipples unintentionally. “Amber..” he bites his lower lip, and her eyes shoot up to look at him. She smirks knowing that she had discovered his delicate spot. Then, she moves away from him and into the bathtub.

By the time she cleanses herself, Alessandro is off to his duty. She eats breakfast with Bianca, heads to work, and gets on with the portraits of the two people as requested by Killian.
