~Emilia’s Point of View~
I made my way into the diner where I was meeting Pavel. I was angry I had to be the messenger, but I understood I was the best choice. He wouldn’t punch out the pregnant mate of Aleksey Reznikov, I didn’t think anyhow.
His face lit up when he saw me and he waved for me to come over. I plopped down in the booth across from him and a waitress suddenly appeared. I noticed he already had a drink.
“What can I get ya hon,” she said, noticeably reeking of salt and grease. I wiggled my nose at the offense.
