Chapter 13

Andrew’s Point of View

Andrew groggily stumbled out of his house, his head pounding from the previous night. He needed to go to the club to meet Kathrine for her first day working for him. With blurry vision, he called for Alfred. Alfred had been working for his family for years, and Alfred had never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Andrew had left his car at the club the night before, he didn’t want to drive with another car.

“Alfred!” Andrew shouted; his voice echoed through the air.

Alfred walked up behind him, “Good morning, Sir. Trust, you slept well.” He asked with his hand folded behind his back.

“Not per say. But I please need you to drive me to the club.” Andrew said while rubbing his head.

“Where’s your car, Sir?” Alfred asked with a confused look.

“I left it at the club last night. I didn’t want to impose on your sleep, so I took a cab.” Andrew said with a fake smile on his face. Andrew knew Alfred would be pissed that he didn’t call him.
