My hand tightened on the scissors, slicing away the cotton bandage that stuck to Elias' flesh. The terrifying wound slowly revealed, and my hand involuntarily trembled; I heard Elias' scornful laugh. "Are you scared? Just these little marks that scared you to the point of freezing?"

I woke up and glared at him. "I'm not scared, just a little surprised. I don't want to know more about your private affairs; I feel weird."

"Strange?" Elias repeated in an amused voice.

"I think you're strong and don't get hurt easily, but…" I furrowed my brows as I looked down at Elias's twisted wound.

His back was vast, covered with numerous wounds. If you look closely, it looks like a wolf bite, like a scratch, a knife cut down. I can't pinpoint what caused it, and I know it's horrible, but one thing I do know, the people who caused these wounds all want to put Elias to death.
