Emery’s POV

“I’m not a whore!” I cried out.

He keeps calling me a whore making my heart bleed, and I don’t seem to like it.

I felt his hands on my face as he wiped some stains of blood off me. His touch sent an electrifying sensation down to my spine, and I leaned into him wanting more and more, and then he pinched me, forcing me to gasp.

I wanted to react when I felt his soft lips on mine. Gosh, he’s so tempting and sweet. So this is truly how the mate bond works. I wrapped my hands around his neck, pleading for more, but something in me snapped.

I pulled back and quickly slapped him across the face, “Bastard”

He can’t just act as he likes around me, I might be his mate, but that doesn't mean he can hurt me and then take pleasures from me. Fuck me for letting the mate bond take control.

“If you dare touch me again, I will slap you hard” I warned, moving away from him, but he pulled me back and pressed me more tightly against the wall as my back ached.
