Raven had stepped into her car that she had parked around the corner. She was going to head back to the motel, change, and see what sort of trouble she could get into tonight yet. ‘So, that was Oliver Flemming, damn he was hot and intense,’ mauled Raven. Raven’s mind went back to the lockers, where she had almost kissed him. The need to do so in that moment was strong.
Raven had such a huge urge to go back there, have him rescue her again… She shook her head. “Girlfriend, he has one of those. She was a piece of work. Guess it comes with the territory.”
Raven rolled down the window of her car to let the cool air in, to refocus herself.
She pulled up to the motel and got out of her car, checking in with Scott, letting him know all that happened.
“Interesting how they mentioned the missing girls. Any of them up there on the board?” questioned Scott.
Raven walked up to the board and found Mr. greasy, “This guy, maybe he’s just saying that to avoid suspicion?”
“Nay, I personally know that guy, it’s too dumb to think like that.” Scott took the photo and place it in a new location. “We’ll still keep him on our radar, just he won’t be as prominent. You did good girl and you managed to get the eye of the billionaire?”
“Just friends,” clarified Raven. “He has a girlfriend.”
“That’s never stopped the wealthy before, and you know all about that,” commented Scott. “This could be an opportunity for you to go undercover if he wants you as a mistress. He’s not hard on the eyes. Maybe that would be too close for you? I don’t want you to do anything you’re not comfortable with.”
“It’s a thought. It would get me closer. He did seem somewhat respectable. I see how the meeting goes tomorrow with him. Even as friends, I can get close.” Raven looked at her watch. “I’m going to get change and hit up the streets. By the way, let me know when the stuff arrives.”
“You’ll be the first to know, you can use the basement for it. Also, make sure to get some sleep, Marshal mentioned you have a habit of not resting,” recommended Scott. Raven waved dismissively as she left the office to head to her room.
An hour later, Raven was walking the streets of the city, looking for any danger. She wore tight black pants, with boots, with knives, and a red crop top, with a leather jacket. The back of her jacket housed stakes, liquid silver, and some holy water. It was nearly one in the morning when she heard screaming. Raven took off running to the sound, she stopped in front of a dark alleyway, not too far from her own traumatic event.
There was a man with a young woman pressed against the wall, as she struggled against his grip, his hand over her mouth as his mouth was clamped on her neck. Raven started running down the alley to them. The vamp looked up at the intrusion.
“Just wait a little bit and I’ll get to you next, love.” The vamp gave a toothy grin. Raven noticed the woman seemed to being slumping, her struggles had ceased.
“I want your time now though,” remarked Raven, hiding a stake up her sleeve. “I’m told I have some really good blood.”
“So, you’re one of those?” smirked the vampire, letting the woman fall to the ground, licking his lips as he walked over to Raven.
“You could say I have an addiction,” smiled Raven. The vampire was by her side in an instant. He leaned towards her neck. “The collarbone if you please.” Raven pulled her shirt down to expose the right side.
“You sure? Sometimes one doesn’t come back from being that close to the heart,” rumbled the vamp.
Raven laughed, “I like to live on the edge.” The vampire sank his teeth down into her flesh. Raven winced, she took the stake in her sleeve and plunged it into his back, just touching the heart. He froze, Marshal had stated he had found a trick over the years. Vampires will instantly freeze if you just pierce the tip of the heart. A great way to get information and possibly let them live.
Raven stepped back, his eyes spoke hatred. “Hunter.” He hissed. Raven walked over to the girl, she was pale, barely breathing, he was going to kill her. She needed to get her to a hospital soon.
Raven turned back to the vamp, “Six years ago, the alleyway between pine and albert street. There was a girl that got attacked by a pack of werewolf alphas. Know anything about it?”
“I may have heard something.”
“What did you hear?” Raven walked close to him to look at his eyes, they were beginning to turn red.
“Release me, and I’ll tell you what I know.”
Raven scoffed, “You don’t know anything.” Raven turned to leave.
“Wait, Bently Evens, alpha of the fang pack. I know he was involved in that. I don’t know the others. He bragged about it in the Underground Silver Moon Club. He goes there often. Now let me go.”
“You were going to kill this girl, why should I spare and make it quick.”
“I can help you, you’re the girl, aren’t you? I saw that she survived.”
“I let you live to kill another day? Nah,” He began to object, but Raven did a swift kick pushing the stake further in, until he proofed into dust. She picked up her stake, and walked over to the girl. Raven hauled the girl out to the main road and called an ambulance. The girl was a lot younger than she had originally thought, seventeen… eighteen maybe.
It was until two hours later that she managed to get back to the motel. Raven had gone with the girl to make sure she was okay, and answered some trivial questions, such as what happened. Raven responded, ‘not knowing,’ ‘found her this way.’ Once the girl began to show some life, Raven slipped out. To get some sleep, before meeting Oliver.
She also now had another lead, this one might be easier to get to, get the rest of the names… Raven knew she needed to figure out the missing girls first. Only because she was sure she wouldn’t survive when she finally goes after the alphas.
“Shh,” whispered Trevor. “We’re getting closer.”Oliver chuckled, part of him really enjoy egging her on, her fire was sexy as hell, and knowing that she was advocating for their relationship, made his wolf purr in content. Oliver leaned down to help her in, but she batted his hand away, and climbed back on the boat.“When this is over, you and I are going to have a serious conversation,” seethed Raven, anger flashed in her eyes.“I look forward to it,” replied Oliver. She sat down in a huff, glaring at him. He continued to row closer to the island, when he started smelling the wolves, he stopped and threw the anchor over. “I can smell them, they’ll be able to smell us. Maybe not you, doll, you smell like fish.”Raven glared, then covered her face, jumping into the water.“Rouge, you might want to take a down a notch with her. Her boyfriend is rather resourceful, and vendetta for her,” warned Trevor.Oliver nodded, maybe he should bring it back, but being in her presence he just wante
On the way over to the docks, Raven filled him in on what she had heard in the VIP room.“So, his dad might have a part in it after all? Considering these men are talking freely in his establishment.”Raven shrugged, “I don’t know. I haven’t met him yet. Oliver hasn’t been forthcoming in introducing us, honestly, more like he’s keeping me from meeting him.”“Maybe he has a good reason to not introduce you to him, especially with what he dabbles in. Maybe he’s concern that dad will steal your heart.”Raven scoffed, “Please… Were you able to find out anything when watching?”“I scouted out the inland one, but didn’t see much movement, just some guards walking around,” remarked Trevor. “Rowboat to get out to the island?”“It would be better if we had scuba gear, mask our smell with fish water, row a bit then swim the rest.”“There might be something along the docks, probably closed but… I do have skills.” Raven laughed. Trevor gave her a side glance as he pulled into the marine. “Do you
Raven got out of her seat walked over to the one of the men at the table and slammed his face into the mess he just made. “Clean it up yourself.”The man across stood, throwing a punch, Raven easily dodged holding her foot out causing the man to trip over it, face planting in the ground. This felt good, especially after the conversation with both Oliver and that lady.“You mess with the wrongs guys,” Another dumbo stood up and came at her, she ducked at his punch and slugged him in the balls, he went down hard, as she brought her knee up to his chin, blood began to pool around his mouth. Those two fled out of the diner. The last one held up his hands as Raven glared over at him, he grabbed some napkins and began cleaning their mess. While the first one was attempting to stand, Raven put a hand on his shoulder, forcing him down. “Help your friend, and make sure to leave a big tip.” She squeezed his shoulder tightly. Then she kneeled down to help the waitress, “Thank you miss.” She hear
Once out in the car Raven was glaring at Oliver, anger radiated off her, but he didn’t care, he needed to get her out of there, especially after pissing off his father.“Boundaries, Oliver!”Oliver was silent, he wasn’t in the mood to argue or explain himself. Stefen had gotten under his skin about his mother, and wanting him to marry Claire, his sudden interest in Raven.Raven noticed his mood, “I was getting some information. They have loose lips.” He was still silent and brooding. “Oliver, I’m supposed to be the one mad at you, not you mad at me, we talked about this.”Oliver pulled off the side of the road and turned to look at her. “I’m not mad at you.”“Good, because I’m mad at you.”“You always going to be mad at me? This seems to be a pattern. You get mad, we have make-up sex, you realize you’re the one pushing…” Oliver shut his mouth, he had gone too far. His voice softened as Raven unbuckled her seat beat. “Raven…”She got out of the car, walking away. Oliver sighed, also ge
“What is it?” Oliver asked as soon as he walked into Stefen’s office, he wanted to get back to her. He looked up at the screen, camera was directly on her. She was rubbing her body, he saw her mouth move, as if she said his name, his cock throbbed.“You should take her. I can tell you want to.”“I’m not taking her in front of you or your cameras. The performance was good enough,” declared Oliver.Stefen scoffed, “It was fine for your first time.”“First and only,” claimed Oliver, crossing his arms.Stefen chuckled, “Maybe. Tell me, what is she to you, she’s more than a submissive. The way you handled her, it’s obvious there’s something more.”Oliver sighed, how would he keep her safe? “Yeah, she does mean something to me. I’m falling for her, I didn’t want to tell you this, because she’s human.”“I figured as much. I just wanted to hear you admit it. You know you cannot marry her, she cannot be your Luna. She can be your mistress though, I will allow that, but you must marry Claire.”
The room had lower lighting this time, softer soothing music. There were soft moans. Every man had a woman on a lease, who was feeding them grapes, cherries, meats, or cheeses, while sitting on their cock, rolling their hips. Last time it was fewer woman and more men, as if they were sharing…“Oliver, my, my…” a man stood up brushing his girl back, she slipped off his cock, he walked over to Oliver, hand out, eying Raven up and down.Oliver barely kept himself from crushing the man’s hand, he did shake a little harder than necessary. Raven caught a glimpse of his wrist, wolf and water.Raven was chocking, his hands wrapped tightly around her neck squeezing harder and harder with each thrust, ‘maybe he’ll just kill me,’ she was hopeful for it all to end. “You’re turning blue like the water,” he chuckled.Oliver sensed a strong amount of fear from her, so could most of the room, they all turned to look at them. Oliver grabbed her hand, she jumped and shook her head. Her fear began to di
