At Zoey's Boutique
“What kind of colours do you wear more frequently?” she asked a customer.
“Well, bright colours.”
“Wow! Bright colours? Fine then. You're going to look good on this since you have a cute face." Zoey explained to her customer who was a sexy looking blonde.
She don't seem to be satisfied with what Zoey is offering but her fingers lingered through the rows like pages of a child's poem book. Taking a turn, Zoey noticed that Sapphire walked into her shop. She didn't want Zoey to get distracted or lose her customer, so, she silently signaled to Zoey while they made an eye contact.
Immediately they saw each other, Zoey replied her with a wide toothy smile as she narrowed her sight.
‘I'll be at the other side.’ Sapphire whispered.
Zoey nodded positively and blinked at eye at her
"I hate it when she ignores my call like this." He muttered looking extremely worried. Just then, Mr. Tim pushed the door, slightly opened."Sir, we have the first draft of our production ready for viewing, in the conference room.""Alright, I'm coming." Jade replied him, still failing her number if she'd probably pick up but she didn't.***'I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel a part of me breaking inside for someone that don't even care about me. I'll have to end this as soon as possible.' Sapphire said to herself as more tears washed through her sad eyes.Zoey caught Sapphire being so moody. She watched her for a while, thinking about what her bestie just told her."So, you're saying that there was a woman who kept saying, My Jadee?""Yeah. And her body language wasn't too subtle, either." Sapphire muttered calmly, still in tears
"I felt that Gabriel's concept went well with ours, so the response has been good." Ace muttered, calmly."Thank you." Sapphire smiled. "You need to thank him well." She told Gabby."Thanks a lot, sir." Gabby bowed in appreciation."But, um... Is it that you're having an event here next week to?" Sapphire questioned."Oh, we already have someone for the main mall, but our Malls in Los Angeles, San Diego and Dapa Valley should be available.""Thank you so much, sir!" Both of them chorused. Sapphire was almost jumping out of her shoes, knowing that Gabriel would be sponsored by such a big group to perform in such prominent places.Meanwhile, getting back to the office, Ace noticed that Mr. Walter and Mr. Charles had a meeting. They kept it secret from everyone as Ace was curious to know. After his dad accompanied Mr. Charles out, he went to confront him on what they were dis
On the other hand, Jade was on his way to work when his phone started ringing. He picked it up to listen to Lucas's voice."Hey, did you see today's paper?""My breakfast meeting just ended. I'm on my way to work right now. Why? Did grandpa say something again?" He adjusted his earpiece to hear him properly."No, the chairman isn't the issue right now. Wait, you're driving right now, right? Just read it when you get to work." Lucas cut the call and threw his phone on his desk.Things were getting too hot as it is. As if they hadn't had enough with the issues on ground. Someone must have definitely reported the false new and now it's causing more problem. Lucas thought as he took off his reading glasses and sipped the beads of sweat forming in the lines of his forehead. He grabbed the newspaper on his table again, to read.Way to write a great artic
For what seems like eternity the both of them stared directly into each other's eyes. Most people would look at Jade's eyes and see beautiful black but at this very moment, all Chloe could see was mountains and maps and thousands of miles of beautiful senary surrounded by colours no one even knows exist and only she would ever see.Chloe saw herself and a future full of love as he looks down at her slightly parted lips in fury.As if she was thirsty for a kiss, Chloe leaned into his arms in slow motion, only breaking eye contact for a few seconds to look down at his lips as he pushed her aggressively to the wall."Chloe! Why are you acting this way?!""I think I'm in love with you." She confessed. "I'm crazily, stupidly in love with you Jadee. What are you scared of, exactly?"Jade burst into laughter and watched her from a far."Would you still love me if I weren't
The half–light at dawn seeped into his office. The down chorus of melodic bird chirping drifted in. Jade rubbed his bleary eyes as he raised his head from the heap of papers and documents laying on his table. Wondering what the time is, Jade walked to the window. There was pearly glow in the sky.'Another day has begun bringing with it new hopes and aspirations.' Jade smiled as he went to take his seat to start his daily activity when he heard a sudden knock on his mirrored door."Yes, come in." Jade muttered,as Mr. Tim entered."Good morning sir." He started off with a bow. "The first reporter to write this was David Armstrong from The New York Times. But they refused to tell me who gave them the information."Jade thought about who it might be... Or might likely be but he had no idea. 'Maybe Charles Chemicals.' he thought."How much did the prices of Charles Chemical's shares rise
A thunderous frown appeared on Jade's face as he pulled Sapphire away from Ace."What are you doing to Sapphire?" Jade started."What do you mean by that? We're friends." Ace explained."Don't be like that. This is a misunderstanding." Sapphire interfered, trying to stop Jade from causing any argument. "I mean... You don't even know him. Well, he's one of Gabby's spon-sors." She stammered as she explained."Gabby's spon-sors?" Jade looked at him with so much anger burning through but he tried not to show it."Hey, naughty Ace! Since when have you ever sponsored idol singers?" Curiosity laced Jade's eyes as he asked. With this, Sapphire turned to him, surprised."Ace? You mean he's your cousin, the Ace you mentioned to me the other day? So are you Mr. Ace, sir?" She asked with a distrusting look."Yes but..." Ace tried to explain but Sapphire cut into his words, abruptly."Is that why you never gave me your business
"Just do what you want, then!" Lucas muttered as his phone suddenly rang. It scrolled through the screen of his phone and muttered... "Work!"Lucas then grabbed his jacket as he stood up. "I'm leaving now, Jade. It's the chairman. As you know, I'm an attorney. I have a lot of other pressing matters to take care of besides this." Lucas explained. "What do you know about struggles, though?" He asked.About to leave, he walked back. And again... "Just in case! You better not use a flower delivery service. You have to deliver them yourself, okay?!"Jade watched as his friend lecture him."Sheesh! You don't have a single romantic bone in you." Lucas rolled is eyes at Jade and brushed his finger through the side of his dark hair in style before leaving."Flowers? As if!" Jade hissed and took his phone. Dialing Sapphire's contact but she wouldn't ever pick. Instead, she rolled her soft
* * *The sky was freezing with the icy moon that went blurry into the clouds. The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. It was already 10:00 p.m. Jade and Sapphire took a seat outside as they stepped out of the warm building. Sitting outside, side by side. The couple watched the moving moon as if it was a boat standing in a ocean of dark shades."Why is your grandfather doing this?" Sapphire broke the silence that had reigned between them for a couple of minutes."What?" Jade replied before turning to her."I mean, why is he doing this to me? Why me of all people?" She pressed. "I wouldn't have been so rudely used by you and Ace if not for his will."Jade gently pinched her cheek which made Sapphire blushed a little."I never used you." We signed a perfectly valid contract."What?" Sapphire scoffed. "Don't fool yourself! Who was t
