Leila felt like everything was slowly crumbling down right in front of her very eyes.
Especially when she finally saw her mother… full of tears inside the prison cell.
She chose to be in the prison cell with her – well, before the servant omegas, who were left to serve Donovan, finally get her out of there to prepare for the upcoming wedding.
“L-Leila…” Her mother called her name brokenly.
She wanted to break down in front of her, too. But she wouldn’t. She couldn’t. She had to stay strong. So, she immediately blinked the tears that were slowly blurring her eyes.
