Eric didn't know when the tears started falling from his eyes. He has endured the pain for the past 15years, not telling anyone about it, not opening up about it. Holding it in him for the longest, was what made him cold, his main aim was to carry out his revenge on them.

Avery consoles him by patting his back and his hair. She never thought that Eric was going through all of these. He was always calm and demure, not talking when not spoken to. But inside of him, he was dying of guilt and pain. Which reminded her of what Ms Maryanne said. The times she has seen Eric sad was when his mother died, who knew his mother died protecting him.

That even the cops couldn't help him. He had to live his life in regrets. She felt sorry for him.

Eric sniffed and released the hug looking at her.

"I think you know everything now," He said and she chuckled as his hands moved around her waist pulling her towards him, her heart speeding up at the small gesture.
