LOGINThe next morning Hannah awoke on the couch and rubbed her eyes. Looking for her phone she checked to see the current time.
"11:01 am, man I must of really been tired."
Just then Grace appeared walking down the hallway with her large braid over her left shoulder. "Good morning sleepy." She smiled.
"Good morning." Hannah smiled back.
Grace made her way into the kitchen. "I know it's nearly noon but could I offer you some coffee or something to eat?"
"Actually I'd love a cup of coffee. Black please." Hannah replied.
"You got it. One cup coming right up. Fun fact I also drink my coffee black as well."
"Oh? I haven't met too many people that drink their coffee that way." Hannah turned to face in Grace's general direction.
"Well my family loves to travel a lot so we had the experience of having freshly made coffee at one point and since that day I haven't drank my coffee any other way." Grace smiled.
A few moments later Grace handed Hannah her coffee.
Hannah took a big whiff from the mug and groaned. Who knew that basically bean water could smell so good?
"So I know we talked so much last night but I don't think that I asked what you do for work."
Grace set her mug down. "I am a work from home interior designer and home builder. I design and decorate homes from bare land to becoming turn key move in ready."
Hannah raised her eyebrows. That explained why Grace was living in the same apartment complex. The apartments costed easily six figures with an annual f*e. The only reason why Hannah shared the apartment with Oliva was due to Oliva's job working in the medical research field.
"I bet the salary is really nice." Hannah whistled.
"It is. It's actually more money that I would know to do with honestly." Grace sat down next to Hannah and faced her. "I am blessed that I was able to purchase my apartment and pay for the annual fees for nearly a decade in advance. I have some high profile clients, so at least I have job security."
Hannah was dumbfounded. Grace seemed so chill and down to earth. But quietly she was incredibly wealthy. Hannah began to look at Grace differently. She was polite and quiet with a interesting personality. Wealthy yes but respectfully so.
"So what do you do with your money then? Do you have a usual work schedule like Monday through Fridays?" Hannah asked.
Grace shook her head. "Actually no, so there's days where I'll work one or two days and then there will be months or sometimes a year with no work. Or" Grace paused. "I'll work for entire year straight. But my clients aren't pushy or anything like that. I can make my own schedule and still have a social life."
"Wow that actually sounds really nice." Hannah smiled.
"Now as for the money I love to shop until I can't anymore. I'm actually in the market to purchase my first home but I was kinda hoping to be married first. I really wanted to do things the right way." Grace frowned. "My last relationship was really toxic, Don't get me wrong I love to spend money but my ex was spending my money and refused to work and didn't even want to go anywhere or do anything. We fought a lot."
"I sadly know the feeling all too well. I don't make a lot of money but my ex before this relationship spent so much of my money I nearly went into debt." Hannah reached for Grace's hand. "I am glad that both of us got out of that mess."
Hannah then continued "I'd love to buy a house but I'd love to be married first too. Make a fresh start but the way the dating and relationship pool is for me it doesn't look like my chances are that great."
"I know exactly what you mean. I accidentally dated my ex's ex at one point and didn't even realize it until after the relationship was over. Women can be complicated." Grace added.
Suddenly Hannah had an idea. Crazy but would Grace be open to it? Hannah started tapping her fingers against her leg. "Grace what if?...."
After showering Grace felt like a totally different woman, bolder, sexier but still the same old Grace. The shower had cooled.Grace felt the shift—a subtle drop in temperature, the steam thinning to a soft mist. They'd been in here too long. Her knees ached from the tile, her lips swollen from what she'd just done to Hannah, what Hannah had done to her.But neither of them moved.Hannah's fingers were tangled in Grace's wet hair, her breathing still ragged. The water traced paths down her lean stomach, her strong thighs. Grace looked up, her cheek pressed against Hannah's hip, and watched her wife come back to herself."I love watching you like this," Grace murmured.Hannah's eyes opened. The green was soft now, post-orgasmic haze giving way to something quieter. "Like what?""Unguarded. Just… mine. Not the medic. Not the barking orders." Grace's thumb traced a circle on Hannah's thigh. "Just Hannah."A faint blush crept up Hannah's neck. Grace saw it and smiled. After everything the
The next morning Grace woke to the smell of fresh coffee being brewed and her wife standing at the counter. "Well good morning sleepy head." Hannah turned around and smiled at Grace. "Did you sleep well?"Grace nodded. "I did, in fact it's some of the best sleep i've had in a while. We need to invest in one of these beds." "Oh absolutely, It's so soft and cozy, I feel like I could just melt right into the bed." Hannah handed Grace a cup. "I figured you'd want some caffiene since we're going to be having a long day ahead of us."Grace accepted the coffee with eagerness. "Thank you baby." she then added. "I still catch myself staring at my wedding set and it still doesn't feel real." "I agree. I keep waking up and thinking that this is all a dream but it's not. And I am so glad you found me in that hallway." said Hannah. The way Hannah's eyes lit up as she spoke drew Grace in even more. It was like she was seeing little layers of her wife slowly peel away over time, and that she was
After the phone call ended Hannah breathed a sigh of relief. "That went better than I expected." Grace shook her head and laughed. "Were you expecting to be burnt at the stake?" She asked.Hannah nodded. "Kind of yeah, I've always been very private when it came to my personal life with my family. They mean well but they sure love to be nosy.""Is it really that bad?" Grace asked. Hannah sighed. "It can be. Our parents want us to marry and be happy and live our lives. All of my sisters have either gotten married or they are in some form of serious relationship. I was the last one who wasn't with someone. My career came first" Grace leaned over and reached for Hannah's hand and gently kissing the back of her knuckles. "I have two sisters who are married with kids and they were worried and probably still are that I haven't found someone yet." Grace then added. "But I am so glad within all of this chaos I found you."Hannah smiled. She felt deep within her soul that she finally found s
Hannah jumped into the hot springs in a cannonball style. "Honey, jump in!" Grace held her breath and jumped in. "Hannah that's hot!" She yelled.Hannah laughed. "Yes sweetheart that is the point of a hot spring." Grace scowled at her wife. "Hey a warning would of been nice."Hannah laughed and smiled. "I figured you would of known my love." "Well I guess I know for the future, if I am to follow you anywhere where water is involved to at least stick my foot in it first." Said Grace as she splashed her wife with water. Suddenly another voice was heard. "Well isn't this an odd surprise" Both Grace and Hannah turned around and looked up. The voice belonged to Hannah's ex Oliva. "Seriously? First the airport and now this?" Hannah scowled. "Are you stalking us or?" Grace added on. Oliva put her hands on her hips and frowned. "As a matter of fact I came here with some company and chose to do this. I am for a fact not following you." She then continued. "It's not like I haven't seen
Hannah woke up with her wife's arms across her chest and face. "Sweetheart, you're smothering me." Grace peeked one eye open and smiled. "I'm sorry that I had slept so well." Hannah reluctantly crawled out of bed and began to look for her missing jeans. "At least you slept well," She said to Grace with a wink. Grace crawled towards the end of the bed with the duvet covering her naked body. "So what's on the agenda for today?"Hannah grabbed her jeans and shimmied into them. "Well, the plan was to go out and explore the city and to show you some of the really interesting spots in Alaska's summer." She then added. "The summers are short here, so I want you to be able to really see what it's like here."Grace smiled. It had been a while since someone else had put her interests and wants at heart. "I really appreciate you, sweetheart. The way you put me above your own needs or wants speaks so loud." Grace smiled, then got up out of bed, walking over to Hannah, still naked. Hannah smi
Hannah looked at Grace with continued lust in her eyes. And in an instant Grace knew that the best was yet to come that this was far from over. Grace’s body was still humming, her nerves singing a low, blissful song. Hannah’s kiss was slow, deep, a claiming that tasted of salt and spent pleasure. But as Hannah’s lips softened against hers, Grace felt something shift. The wildfire of submission that had consumed her wasn’t gone. It had transformed. Her hands, which had been limp against Hannah’s shoulders, tightened. She pulled Hannah closer, deepening the kiss herself. When she finally broke away, her eyes, still glazed with release, held a new kind of focus. A hungry, determined light.“Not yet,” Grace whispered, her voice raspy but firm. “You’re still wearing too much.”Hannah’s green eyes flashed, a mix of surprise and amusement. Her dominance had been absolute, but Grace wasn’t broken. She was… refueled. “You have plans?” Hannah murmured, a smirk touching her lips.Grace didn’t a
