Waiting for the taxi to come to a complete stop, Hannah ran her hands through her hair. She sighed, "It feels weird being home after so long". Handing the money to the driver, Hannah gathered her bags and made her way to the main apartment buildings door. Finally reaching her apartment door inside, Hannah fumbled for her keys and unlocked the door, and calling out for her girlfriend Oliva whom she regularly called Liv. "Liv are you home? Liv?". Walking around the apartment she noticed that the place was unusually messy with clothes strewn around and all over the floor. Hannah frowned. Liv was usually a neat freak constantly nagging Hannah to clean up either one of her messes or her gear off of the floor. Hannah began to hear soft noises coming from their shared bedroom in their apartment. "What the hell?". Hannah opened the bedroom door and was immedately hit with instant regret. Hannah saw her girlfriend currently in a mess of tangled limbs with another woman, naked in their bed.

Grace was now pulled into the conversation with Hannah and even had her legs crossed together while facing her. "What are you thinking Hannah?" Grace asked. "Well," Hannah swallowed. "What if WE got married and bought a house? I know we just met, but, What if?" Hannah asked. Grace's eyes went wide. "Are you serious?" Suddenly Hannah's offer didn't seem so crazy. Last night Grace learned that Hannah was a medic in the military and had been deployed to a few countries overseas. She also learned that Hannah lived her life honorably, as well as traveled as much as she could. Hannah nodded. "I absolutely am serious. I mean what do we have to lose? We can learn more about one another along the way and have the relationship and marriage be something we both want and need."Grace thought about it. Hannah wasn't wrong. Hannah began to look through the different suits that were available. She settled on a charcoal gray suit with a matching tie and handed over the suit to Carrie who then went through the same alteration process with Grace earlier. -------------Once their outfits were taken back to the seamstresses to be altered, Carrie walked with the women to the register to ring them both up. "Now the alterations are two thousand, your suit is twenty seven hundred and Miss Grace's dress is going to be ten thousand, for a total of fourteen thousand seven hundred dollars. How will you ladies be paying?"Grace eagerly pulled out her credit card and handed it to Carrie who ran it without any trouble. "Perfect. Now here's your card and reciept. We have an hour before we need to be at the court house." Hannah walked into the bathroom and began to brush her teeth.Grace finally got the nerve to get out of bed and started to get ready as well. "Should I wear my hair up or down?" She asked."I love the braid that you do when it hangs over your shoulder." Hannah said with a mouthful of toothpaste."Noted. Braid got it" Grace began to brush her hair and began to tie it in a large loose braid over her shoulder.

Hannah's leg began to bounce and her thoughts began to take her back to her previous deployment. "Hey, come back to me" said Grace as she placed a hand on Hannah's knee. Hannah felt herself being sucked back into reality and found her wife staring back at her. "Huh?" said Hannah mildly confused. "Where did you go my love?" Graced soothed. "Sometimes my brain tends to be unkind and take me back to places where I dont want to be". Hannah sighed. "They call it PTSD, and I am usually okay but flying tends to trigger it." Grace's gaze softened. "I have heard about it but I'm unfamiliar with it. What can I do to help?" Hannah smiled. "Just talk to me sweetheart, thats the best thing you can do." Just then the pilot came over the intercom. "Attention passengers, please buckle your seat belts as we prepare to depart."
