Amara
Last night must have been the best sleep I have had in a while.Usually I don't sleep too well because I suffer with night terrors, they usually consist of all the things I fear rolled into one nightmare. When my mum was still with me I used to wake her up all the time with my screams and she would have to stay with me until I fell asleep again and stopped shaking. I never really knew why I got them, i just had to deal with them on my own like everything else in my life. I clambered out of bed and went straight downstairs to the kitchen where I made some oatmeal to start my day.I cut up some strawberries and placed them in the bowl with my oatmeal and a spoonful of Nutella to go in it too.I walked around my home while eating my breakfast just taking in the life that I actually live. It's very quiet. Very normal. Well as far as everyone knew. Some may even say boring.*buzz*My phone started to vibrate telling me that I got a text massage.Riley: Amara just kill me now. My head hurts too much!!!I started laughing at the text, I knew she would go too far, she always does.Me: I warned you RileyRiley: I know I know I should've listened, are you as bad as me right now?Me: Of course not, I'm not stupid, and besides I have work in a few.Riley: God I couldn't think of anything worse than being in a gym right now :0Me: Well it is my job RyRiley: I know I know the big time personal trainer, good luck gorgeous!I simply laughed at her response and made my way up to my room to get into my gym gear and my workbag.Today I decided on a light blue legging and sports bra set, with my long wavy hair tied up in a low pony tail to get it out of my way. I made my way out of my house and to my gym to start training clients.-The gym was a lot busier than I'm used to, I had 4 clients lined up so far and a few classes I had to instruct. I do love my job I really do. There are so many people I've been able to motivate and help in any health problems they've had and help them in achieving their perfect body goals.I went to my locker to put my bag away and proceeded to meet my first client. Her name was ruby and she was 45, she told me how she hasn't been able to properly bend down because of a joint problem in her knees."Sweetheart having 4 kids and having to pick up for them each and everyday really does play on your muscles" she chuckles while gently patting my arm."I'm sure it does, now I'm gonna start you off with something moderate and easy to see what you can handle before your knees begin to hurt okay?" I ask her making sure she's okay with how I plan on training her."That's perfectly okay honey" she told me.She was really really sweet. One of the best things about this job was training with some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. After my training with ruby was done she insisted that she will be back next week for another gym session with me and only me because she liked me better than any other personal trainer in this gym.My next client was now a 23 year old man whose name was Max. He was a regular who came to the gym at least 5 days a week, and always training with me. He definitely didn't need a personal trainer, he knew exactly what he was doing. But I was getting paid so I'm not complaining."Hey Amara" he said while nervously waving at me."Hey max, how is the HIIT training coming?" I asked as last week we went over high intensity interval training and we were very rusty."Really difficult I just get to tired to easily from them" he tells me.I write this all down on my iPad making sure that I add them to his progress file I make with all my clients."Okay right, we're gonna start you off with a quick warm up okay?" I told him. He nodded and started the warm up that I had arranged for him to get his blood pumping.Suddenly I felt like I saw someone familiar laying on the bench press lifting an extraordinary amount of weights. I recognised his muscles, his body, his shape, everything. The way he lifted the weights made it look like he could literally lift anything. All of a sudden the man sat up on the bench stretching his arms out and his back. Oh my, it's him.The guy from the club. This killian I keep hearing about a lot recently. He's just as perfect as when I first met him. In fact even better considering he was wearing a loose workout vest and black shorts while he worked out.I've never seen him here before, because if I had, trust me I would've never got any work done."Amara, are you okay?" Max asked suddenly interrupting my daydream.I shook my head to wake myself up, "yep all good, are you finished?" I asked."Yes I am, should I move on to the HIIT training we've been working on?" He asked completely ready to complete it all.I smiled, "Perfect, start that, make sure you remember to breathe during the sets, sometimes we forget to breathe while exercising which can just make things so much more difficult." Max nodded at everything I was saying and began to go through his routine.I felt eyes on me again. I was scared to look to check if it was him. But I could already feel from the intimidation that it was. I moved so that my back was facing him to stop me from being distracted from work."Perfect Max, remember to breathe and take your time, it's not a race" I encouraged him as he performed burpee after burpee.I felt a warm body directly behind me and hot breath on the back of my neck with the smell of mint coming from it."Hey baby” he said in his deep husky and manly voice that just made my knees weak. I turned around to see him sweating but also cool looking as if he had absolutely no worries."W-what are you d-doing here?" I stuttered, all of my confidence left so suddenly when I was around him.He simply smirked, "I'm just working out baby, is that not okay?""I've never seen you here before" I snapped back quickly in an accusing tone."Well I tend not to stay in one gym for too long, but now I'm going to have to make an exception, I didn't realise you worked here" he slowly got closer to me making me even weaker and ready to submit to his will.Work. I need to get back to working."Well I'm a bit busy right now." I said while turning my back to him and walking off.He grabbed my wrist so that I couldn't walk away from him and pulled me back into him again."Don't you dare turn you back on me again" he aggressively barked.I cowered at his masculine voice and simply bowed my head."I need to get back to work" I tried budging my wrist away from him but it was no use because he was much stronger than me.He then lets go of my wrist making me stumble back slightly and I begin to walk away knowing that his eyes were still on me."Max how are you getting on?" I asked as he looked like he was finishing up a set."Good, I'm starting to find it a lot easier" he explained to me.I smiled at him and nodded, "that's good because we can start to increase the intensity more next time"He then carried on with the training that I had set him to do and I went to the water fountain to getsome more water. Instantaneously I felt two strong familiar arms pull me to a more secluded area of the gym and pin me against a wall.Fuck.I could see pure anger and lust on his face as he was panting heavily. He places his face in the crook of my neck making his way up lightly touching my neck with his lips."I could use a trainer you know." He growled in my ear sending shivers down my spine."Well you'll have to take that up with my manager and she'll assign you one. It's quite expensive." I strengthen up and confidentially blurted out. This was my job, it was not something he could mess with.He looked into my eyes and kept eye contact with me. His eyes were so amazing."I don't like you training other guys, I don't like them being so close to you" he told me with an assertive tone."But it's my job" I answered back as this is what I loved to do.He moved his head to the side with a questionable look, "Are you talking back at me?"I was pinned to the wall unable to move anywhere. I simply bowed my head again because of how much he intimidates me. I shook my head slowly."Good girl, now I really do need to be alone with you, i need to finish what we started." He instigated. He then leaned in and kissed me slowly, allowing memories of last night to fill my head. His lips were so addictive. He then pulled away and lightly slapped my butt which stung a lot but felt a little good too I can't lie.He then retracted his arms and walked away from me leaving me alone and flustered ready to go back out onto the gym floor and explain to my clients why I left them waiting for so long.I smiled at him without even realizing I had let it slip out, the words catching me slightly off guard. I had never really trusted anyone before, and admitting it, even to myself, was not easy.“I guess I do,” I whispered softly, my eyes locking onto his.A slow, knowing smile spread across Killian’s lips, and it made me blush slightly. There was something about the way he looked at me that made me feel exposed, seen, yet completely safe. His gaze lingered, filled with a mix of desire and pride, and I couldn’t look away.Without missing a beat, he lifted the spoon back to his mouth after it had lingered in mine, tasting the sweetness that had mixed with my lips. Then he scooped up another portion of ice cream and brought it to me, his fingers brushing mine as our hands met. The contact sent a shiver straight through me, and I realized how intimate these small moments felt with him.Killian leaned closer, his chest pressing lightly against my back, and his hand slid around my waist, pu
The dress peeled off my back, leaving me bare to him. I froze for a moment, hearing nothing from Killian. My pulse raced, uncertainty mixing with desire, and I turned around to see what held him silent. He was standing back, eyes wide with awe, the desire in his gaze almost burning through me. Then his expression shifted, a shadow of anger crossing his face.“Did I say that you could turn yourself around?” His voice was low, controlled, yet carried so many unspoken intentions that my stomach tightened.I shook my head slowly, concern etched on my face. “Are you really angry?”“Use your words,” he commanded again, his tone sharper now, a mixture of assertion and need.“No, you didn’t,” I whispered, unsure of what he wanted from me.“You’re right,” Killian said, voice low, deliberate, and with a hint of amusement. His hands were like iron as he reached for me. With effortless strength, he flipped me onto my stomach, the sudden motion making me gasp audibly, my chest pressing into the so
I did not let her speak before I continued. My hands wrapped around hers, pulling them gently into mine, and I searched her eyes with mine. Every flicker of emotion she tried to hide, every tiny hesitation, I caught it.“But this time I need complete honesty from you, Amara,” I said, my voice low but firm. “I need you to tell me the truth. All of it. Every time. No exceptions.”Her lips parted slightly, but she said nothing, only gave a small, almost imperceptible nod.“Use your words,” I pressed, the firmness in my tone making her jump slightly.“I will,” she whispered, her voice soft, hesitant, almost shy.“Good girl,” I said, my lips brushing hers immediately after, pulling her body close. She responded without hesitation, her mouth opening to mine, her warmth pressing against me. I could not fault her. Her lips were incredible. The way she used them, teasing and desperate at once, made my body tighten with need. I wanted to explore her lips further, claim them fully, and taste eve
A small smirk curved her lips as I closed the distance, my heart doing a stupid, excited staccato in my chest. My own mouth went dry and then parted, words trapped like birds that could not find the sky.“All three? You took on all three?” I managed to gabble, pointing toward the three hulking men now groaning on the floor.Amara sat as if nothing had happened. Calm, poised, almost bored. Every line of her posture told a story of skill and quiet confidence. She lifted her chin and smiled like a blade slipping out of a velvet sheath. Her voice flowed when she spoke, a melody that could soothe or slice depending on how she meant it. Deadly and soft at once.“Mr Medici, I have been in this business a very long time. You do not think a woman like me would not learn how to defend herself?” Her words wrapped around me and held me in place. You are amazing, I said without meaning to. The confession left my lips before my brain could stop it.For a second her smugness cracked, replaced by an
“Aww, you boys are cute. You think you can intimidate me?” Her laugh rang out, stronger now. She was nothing like the girl I had come to know. Completely different. Arrogant, yes, but in a sexy, confident way. She demanded attention instead of shying away from it. “Answer the question.” My voice rose slightly, and her eyes rolled toward me. I was leaning against a desk in the dark corner, arms crossed, radiating a seriousness she had never seen before. Her eyes widened slightly, then locked onto mine, her smirk deepening. Sexy. Stop it, Killian. “I’m surprised it took you boys so long to figure it out. I mean, I was absent from this house for a while, same time as the attacks.” Her confidence grew with every word. Even tied to a chair, she held the upper hand, using it to toy with three men surrounding her. “Who are you working for?” Cosimo stepped closer, arms crossed like mine. Her head rolled toward him, smirk still prominent. “And what makes you think I work for anyone?”
Taking his hand in mine, he shook it firmly, one hand in mine and the other resting on top, holding the shake with purpose. “You got a last name with that?” he asked, letting go and stepping back slightly. “King.” His face shifted through a series of emotions—bewilderment, confusion, then sudden shock and realization. I had seen that look many times, always when I revealed my last name. Many knew it, and those who didn’t learned quickly. “King? You’ve never told me that before. Why does that sound familiar?” Killian’s hand went to his lightly stubbled chin, rubbing it as his eyes narrowed in thought. Andreas stepped back another pace, creating distance between us. I was used to it. “Killian, we need to talk. Now,” Andreas said, leading him toward a door I assumed led to the next room. I worried about leaving Andreas alone with him. Clearly he knew something, and I didn’t want it to come out. Killian followed out, and I was left in silence with Cosimo and Antonio. I didn’t know
