Chapter Thirty Four: Meet The Parents

He took one more look at Gaby’s face. He smiled.

‘God, what is with you, Gaby, and this is how you affect me.’ Clark thought.

“Sir Clark, the food is ready,” said one of their maids, Celia.

“All right, thank you,” said Clark.

The face of the housekeeper showed shock at hearing the lad’s words of thanks. She took off right away.

“Gaby!” said Clark once, patting the girl’s cheek.

‘Her skin is so soft.’ Clark thought.

“Wake up, sleepyhead!” Clark whispered in the girl’s ear.

Gaby flipped and panicked. She felt the warmth of his breath in her ear. Clark smiled while watching her.

“Let’s get inside and have dinner first,” said Clark.

“Huh? Where are we?” Gaby asked.

Clark assisted her until she exited the car. “At my home,” said Clark.

“What?” said Gaby in shock.

“It’s right next to the concert place, so I thought we could just have dinner here,” said Clark.
