Chapter 6. Obsession

"This is impossible." Ailee kept muttering that phrase all the way home from the clinic.

Don't think Sunny wasn't shocked, she was just as shocked as Ailee, but she had to keep a cool head, especially when she was driving like this.

"We're lucky that the doctor is an acquaintance of mine and she's willing to keep your pregnancy a secret," Sunny muttered as she tried to focus on the road ahead. "Now tell me, who was that guy? Who's the jerk who got you pregnant?" she continued half-angrily.

Ailee could only stare at the road through the window of the car beside her blankly, as if she didn't care about Sunny's nagging, her brain kept telling her that 'it's impossible', or 'there's no way I'm pregnant'. Ailee felt like she was still dreaming, if she could hope, she wanted to wake up from this nightmare soon. No pregnancy, no sleeping with Aaron, no attempted harassment from Mr. Simon, just her standing on stage and singing to the music and applause of the audience.
