Along the way to the woods, Klaud heard a loud tone coming from his phone. He didn't who was calling, but he checked it upon remembering Dianna.

Like what he thought, the caller was the love of his life. Without any hint of fear, Klaud answered it.

"Hi, Dianna! Why did you call, did you miss me already?" He spoke sweetly as if everything was fine.

In the other line, Dianna gasped and cleared her throat.

She said, "Where are you? Why am I hearing something noisy? Are you in a bar with Demiel and Aaron again?"

Klaud wished it was true. It would be better to hang out with the boys rather than risk his life.

He chuckled and tried to lighten up the mood. Talking about something might trigger Dianna, and it wouldn't be a good sign for him.

Instead, Klaud lied to her. It was the best thing he could do for her safety.

He said, "No, we didn't. I'm in my room, sleeping. But I can't ignore you, that's why I answered the call."
