Chapter 4

I was dumbfounded. Okay. I decided to believe in her not because her words moved me but because I wanted to escape.

'Lavanya, trust her. If she lies, I will take over your body to kill her and everyone who gets in our way. Then I will find a way out of this place.' My wolf said seriously.

I closed my eyes, then inhaled and exhaled. I believe in my wolf. If my wolf loses and we die, at least we've tried to escape this place.

My dad and big brother always told me not to trust strangers, but now I had to believe the omega.

"Ok. I believe you. If you lie, my wolf will kill you." I threatened her.

The omega smiled. "Thank you for believing in me."

I rushed to put on the omega uniform. If I was already in the forest, the omega told me to remove my uniform. She put her index finger in front of my lips before I opened them, and she forbade me from asking.

I haven't taken a step yet because I'm still unsure. What if that crazy Alpha ordered her to take me to another room? It turned out that it was difficult for me to believe her.

'Lavanya, if you can't trust her, trust me.' My wolf voice echoes in my head.

The omega gripped my hand tightly. My heart was racing as I exited the room. I was surprised; no warriors were guarding the room.

"I told you, all warriors participate in war," said the omega.

I lowered my head. I'm afraid to meet eyes with other omegas, even though I want to see this house. I walked quickly behind the omega.

"I apologize for keeping you waiting," said the omega.

I raised my head, and I made eye contact with a light blonde-haired omega. I asked omega for an explanation, who said she would help me escape this place.

"She is exactly like you. She is also an Alpha prisoner." The Omega gave me and the light blonde woman a sad look.

The woman and I were wide-eyed. I wasn't the only slave to that crazy Alpha, and I was his prisoner.

"Prisoner?" I draw my eyebrows together. That means this pack is the enemy of my pack.

"Yes, that's right. You are prisoners." The Omega nodded. She pushed the wall slowly; then, the wall opened to show a long passageway.

"You must leave here immediately." The Omega pushed the blonde woman and me down the passageway. I glared at her. The omega smiled and waved her hand. "You guys just follow the passageway."

"Will this passageway take us out of here?" I ask. The omega smiled and nodded. Along with the tightly closed wall, the passageway gradually darkened.

Darkness welcomes us.

I walked down this dark passageway with the light blonde woman. There are no lamps or candles to light our path.

Of course, I'm scared. I throw away all bad thoughts. I believe there is a door ahead, at the end of this passageway, that leads out of this place.

I suggest we crouch while walking. A left-hand touches the floor, and a right-hand touches the wall. We did this in anticipation that if there were a hole, we would fall and get stuck in another room.

I don't want to be cooped up anymore. I want to return to my pack even though I don't know the way to my pack.

'Don't be afraid, Lavanya. Remember me.' My wolf calms my anxiety. 'I will lend you my power so you can see.'

I closed my eyes to receive Ilona's power. When I opened my eyes, I could see the floor and the black walls of the passageway. No wonder this passageway is so scary.

I can't wait to meet the end of this passageway. My heart was beating so fast it felt like it would explode.

"Hey."

My heart stopped beating, and my body froze. The low voice pierced my eardrums.

"Why are you surprised? You forgot I was behind you?" The blonde woman chuckled.

I took a deep breath. I forgot I'm not alone. I didn't expect she would talk to me. "I apologize."

"It's okay." She replied. "I'm Corvina. What's your name?"

"Lavanya." I continue my walk. We've only walked twenty meters. Walking while squatting was exhausting, and my thighs were weak.

"I have a question. I apologize in advance, and I'm not forcing you to answer my question." Corvina's voice echoed down the passageway. She didn't need to speak with a raised voice. "I've been there for a year. How about you?"

I was taken aback by her question, and how long she had been a sex slave to that crazy Alpha. I feel bad for that crazy Alpha's mate; I hope she discovers soon that her mate has locked up two women to serve his lust.

"I was just curious. I was surprised to find there was another woman. I wasn't disappointed or pleased. We share the same fate. We didn't want him, so we ran away." Corvina said quietly.

"I've been in that damn room for over a year. I was also surprised." My hands clenched tightly into fists.

I do not accept the treatment that crazy Alpha has done to me. He has taken my virginity! I'm embarrassed to meet my mate.

"You've been there longer than me," Corvina muttered. "Are there other women besides us? If there were, Friska would have told her to go with us."

"I can't imagine his mate's feelings." I shook my head. I wish my mate weren't like that crazy Alpha.

"He's unmated. Didn't Friska tell you?"

"I never talk with her."

"I often ask her. She just told me Alpha's name and told me that Alpha Eric's mate had died two years ago," Corvina said.

Alpha Eric? So that crazy Alpha's name is Eric.

"What pack are you from?"

I fixed my gaze on the wall in front of me. Then I looked to the right and left, but there was no other aisle. We walked straight until we reached the end of the passageway, which had no branches.

"It appears we've arrived." I slowly stood up. Then I groped and pushed against the wall in front of me, attempting to open it. Corvina stood next to me and did the same thing I did.

I studied the ceiling. I raised my hand, and my guess was right; my hand could reach the ceiling. My heart beats like a drum and sweat rolls down my face; I hope we can find a way to get out of this dark passageway soon.

I was afraid the war was over, and the warriors noticed I wasn't in the room, and they chased after us. I pushed the wall impatiently.

"Lavanya, this wall can be opened." I rushed to Corvina. Corvina stands against the wall on the right.

Corvina and I pushed the wall; it was so heavy. I put out all my strength.

"Ugh, that's heavy," Corvina complained.

I'm not giving up. I have to get out of this place! I ignored the pain all over my body.

"Ugh." The wall opened quickly, making me and Corvina fall to the ground. I sat up quickly and looked at my elbow, which the rock had hit. It was extremely painful.

"Woah, forest! Friska really helped us get out of that place." Corvina said cheerfully.

I looked around. Many shady trees and two deer were standing not far from us. Two minutes later, the two deer ran so fast. They feared we would eat them.

Corvina and I closed the passageway walls to keep any animals from coming in and causing them to notice we had run away. That passageway may be a secret passage they use to escape from enemies. Friska was great at knowing about the secret passage.

We walked through the forest. Each pack has two or three forests, and I'm looking for a marker sign to determine who owns this one. Corvina stated that Friska instructed her to walk straight after exiting.

My heart raced every time I stepped, and my eyes scanned my surroundings warily. My wolf will take over my body if something bad threatens my life.

"Hey, you werewolves."

My body froze. Corvina walked in front of me, she turned first, and her eyes widened. I inhaled the aroma that stung my sense of smell; then, I dared to look back.

"Rogues," I whispered.

"That's right. They're rogues." Corvina's voice trembled.

"You two have entered our territory. Would you two like to join our group?" said a black-haired man.

"Did you forget? Our group is not accepting members." The brown-haired man snapped at the black-haired man standing next to him. Then he grinned at us. "We're in desperate need of enslaved people. They happen to be females."

"And look where they came from."
