Ethan was the only person I could talk to. No, I didn’t really say much to him, but I could bear being in his presence unlike Jason.

Jason disgusted me to the core and right now, my heart was sealed each time I thought of him.

Ethan apologized and I understood. He was the most intelligent and understanding from all of them and so, it wasn’t hard to place my hands on the reason why they reacted in the way and manner they did.

“I missed you, Kayla”, Ethan said as he took a hold of my hands and placed a soft kiss on it. I stiffened and wore a small smile on my face.

Just then, my eyes darted over to Claire and my heart skipped a beat.

“Did you just think of the fact that we are…”, I trailed off as I gazed at Ethan who was suddenly looking as if he had just seen a ghost.

“Shit!” He yelped as we both shifted our eyes to gaze at Claire who was now looking at us.

From the look she had on her face, it was not hard to point out the fact that she already knew we were mates.
