Third person. The quad resolved to meeting with their father and expressing their disappointment and fear about the situation. They wanted a closure to everything and the earlier they got that, the better for everyone of them and the pack. At this, they set up a meeting with their father and just as they expected, he made no attempt to attend. “What are we going to do? It doesn’t seem like he’s coming. He must still be enraged by how Kayla spoke to him”, Jake said as he let out a yawn and lowered his head to the table. He was super frustrated because he couldn’t help but imagine how everything changed in a split second. Most especially, how possible it was for powerless Kayla to return with the kind of power capable of standing as a threat to every single person in the continent. “Kayla is enraged as well. We know who would win if they start a fight against each other”, Jason said with a voice that sounded like a whisper and for a moment, they stared at each other, their eyes say
“I have nothing to do with Kayla anymore. If she wants to bring war to my pack, then I’m ready for that”, the alpha King said to Jake who couldn’t believe his ears. Jake had raced to his room with the intentions of calling him over for an urgent meeting in regard to the letter that came in from Kayla. However, it was obvious that the Alpha King wasn’t willing to bat an eyelid. “Father, this is really important! Ethan and the others says that you need to come for the meeting”, Jake said with a shaky voice, quite worried that doom was at the verge of befalling the entire pack.
Third person. It was time for the meeting. The Alpha King had gathered everyone with the intentions of informing them about the latest developments in the pack. The quad were beginning to feel quite relaxed because they felt that their father was seeing sense in what they pushed to him. All what they wanted was peace with Kayla. Third person. Kayla My head was banging terribly. I was truly exhausted and at the verge of getting frustrated because of all that was going on. For a while, I took a look at my life to be sure that I was on the right track. It looked so lonely and deep down, I missed some part of my previous life as Kayla. I missed the quad, my mates. I missed their company and their hugs, especially that of Jason. However, I couldn’t show them that side of me because it would only make me look weak and frail. That was what I tried to avoid.
Kayla. The look on the faces of everyone present at the park was so terrifying. They stared at me as though they’ve just seen a ghost and I wasn’t really bothered. They all got involved in bullying me when I was still powerless. Whatever it was I showed them back there was only a tip of an iceberg and I was so ready to bring down the entire pack if that was what it took. “Kayla!” I heard a voice that cut deep into my thoughts, prompting me to stop right in my tracks. The voice had some sort of effects that sent cold shivers down my spine. “We aren’t meant to be feeling this way! This is a time for war and not for feelings”, I scolded my wolf for feeling all excited just because one of our mates were close by. I let out a soft hiss and finally turned my head to the direction of the voice. Jason took careful steps over to me. At first, it seemed as though he was quite scared and disturbed by the look I had on my face. However, he loosened up the minute he got to my front. “I real
Jason. It was high time we closed up the rift we had with Kayla. She was going to win either ways and we were only hurting ourselves by extending the entire situation. All I craved for was utmost peace. I wanted us to be at peace with our mate and return to the times when we stayed together joyfully. However, it seemed as though that wasn’t forthcoming because each step we took only led to more disaster. Our father was being stubborn and that infuriated Kayla to the core. Now the question was “what should be done?” “How about we tell the entire park what our father did to your mother?” I asked with a voice that sounded like a whisper.
Third person. It was late in the night Kayla received a letter from a servant who walked in with a veil on his face. Once she picked up the letter, she knew that it had come from Denver’s pack. “We are coming for you. Remember our promise? It’s time to start the war”, the note was brief but enough to send cold shivers running down her spine. She sighed deeply and tore the note into tiny shreds after which she sank into her bed, quite unsure of what to do. That was the plan all along, to return back to her pack and help them out when they come to attack. She was very much okay with this, except that the quad might get hurt in the process.
The quad weren’t really surprised by what was currently happening at the pack. They had gotten a notice that Denver was coming around to attack and they had informed their father. However, their father was not willing to accept that. He believed that Denver was at peace with him and at this, it was merely rumors trying to create a rift in his relationship with Denver’s pack. Ethan was the first to run into his father’s study. He had caught sight of a group of werewolves and quickly pointed them out as enemies. “Denver is here…to attack”, Ethan dropped and for a minute, his father though that he had heard wrongly. They needed Kayla. They all knew it.
