CHAPTER TEN

MY REBOUND

DOMINEERING HUSBAND

Chapter 10.

Olivia sat at the back sit, with her hands crossed underneath her bóöbs and glaring out the window, while fuming in anger.

Since they left the mansion, she has been that way. Probably because of the fact that she realized that two cars were actually accompanying her to the mall. One at the front of theirs and the other at the back. They were actually Joel's crazy guards.

Even when she had demanded they stop following her, they refused saying they were only following Joel's orders.

What stupid orders!! the guard in the car she was in, is enough but letting more guards come with her in two others cars.. That's really absurd.

She could have cancelled her outing and go back home bit all her efforts to go out, wouldn't just go down the drain because of some stupid orders.

"Ma'am Olivia, Are you okay?" Julie asked, after noticing her the angry scowl on her face.

"I'll only be okay once this guards go off my back. We're just going to the Mall, Julie!! The Mall. I don't need all of this guards!!"

Julie chuckled and leaned closer to Olivia... "Permit me to say this, ma'am.. But that's what you get for being the wife of a business tycoon".

Olivia groaned and slapped Julie playfully on her shoulders.

"I didn't ask to be married to him. I just woke up one day to the news of being done weirdo's wife!"

Julie laughed.

"We're going bro create a scene at the Mall, Julie... These guards are going to attract a lot of attention to us!" Olivia added.

"Relax ma'am, you'll get use to it soon enough!".

"Gosh! I hate publicity!" Olivia grumbled and leaned back on her sit.

The rest of the ride was a smooth one, even if Olivia wasn't getting the fun she initially planned. She wasn't even feeling the need to admire the city and it's all Joel's fault. He just had to ruin the little fun she planned on having by letting these guards come with her.

Anyways, she's not going to let Joel and his guards ruin her plans for today. No matter what, she's still going to have fun.

Soon, they got to the Mall and the guards came down and got the door for Olivia. She stepped out alongside Julie and they both began to walk towards the Mall, with the guards hovering around them.

As she had imagined it to be, they were already attracting lots of attentions and it got even worse when they stepped into the Mall.

"Why are we just standing?" Olivia asked Julie because they've been standing on a particular spot for about five minutes or so.

"Just hold on a bit ma'am" Julie replied.

*Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, we're sorry to say but we demand that you all vacate the Mall, because an important guest just step in and demands for privacy. We're truly sorry but the Mall will be closed for sometime* A voice from the speaker announced.

"Fúçk!! Why does it have to be now!" Olivia grumbled. Now her outing is completely ruined. She hasn't even started and now they're asking everyone to leave. Who is that important guest anyways?.

"Let's just go, Julie! Everything is ruined already!" Olivia said, feeling really frustrated.

"We aren't leaving ma'am!" Julie responded.

"Didn't you hear them ask everyone to leave? There's an important guest, so we should leave!"

Julie smiled. "You're that important guest ma'am!".

"Sorry?" Olivia gasped as soon as she realized what Julie meant by she being the important guest.

"The Master ordered you shop privately. He doesn't want you to mingle with the others" Julie added.

"What?" Olivia watched everyone exit the Mall and some were already throwing nasty glares at her. They might have already figured her to be the important guest.

Olivia wasn't at easy watching the others leave while she stays back and shops alone. Why would Joel even think of doing that? Did she by any chance tell me that she wanted privacy at the Mall?.

"I hate this Julie" Olivia said.

"I know"

Not long after everyone exited the mall, a woman in her late fourties showed up.

"Good day, Mrs Osteen. We're glad to have you here! It's an honor to have the wife of the most famous business tycoon in our Mall today."

Instantly, Olivia felt peeved by the woman's words.

"Thank you!" Olivia responded, faking a smile.

"We have the latest design collections we'd like you to try and trust me, you're going to love it"

"Hm" Olivia responded with a nod.

"Great! Let's go then.. Please come with me!" The woman walked ahead while Olivia reluctantly followed behind.

In as much as she doesn't want to be recognized in public as Joel's wife, she had to do this for the sake of her plans in discovering her past. But how much more does she has to endure all this?

••. ••. ••.

They've been shopping for over two hours now and the woman wouldn't stop bringing in more designs for Olivia to check out.

Olivia already feels tired. This is not how she planned her day to be like. This is one hell of an outing.

"Check this out, Mrs Osteen. It's one of our best designer gown from Turkey"

Olivia scrutinized the gown thoroughly and didn't find anything that made it the best designer gown. Pfft! In fact, it's ugly and not in any way beautiful.

"You should try this on, I'm sure Mr Osteen would love it!"

"Really? You're sure he would?" Olivia asked the woman.

"Of course! I'm sure Mr Osteen would want the best for you!"

Can someone just tell this woman to give Olivia some breathing space. Can't she see the tired look on Olivia's face already! Oh! Just because she's the wife of a business tycoon, doesn't mean she should buy the entire Mall.

"Can you just wrap this up for me? I've made my choice already and I don't want anything more" Olivia said, sitting down on the Sofa.

"Yes! I'll be right back, Mrs Osteen" The lady left.

Olivia sighed. Finally,, the woman is off her neck. Now she's left with just this guards. How she wished she had supernatural powers to disappear and appear in a different quite place, void of Joel and his guards.

"Thank you so much ma'am Olivia" Julie said.

"For what?" Olivia asked, pretending like she doesn't have an idea on what Julie meant.

"For the things you bought for me! It's quite expensive!".

"Oh!" Olivia waved her hands. "It's nothing, you deserve more!. Come sit with me!" She invited Julie to sit beside her and Julie did just that.

"Still, I really appreciate!" Juli added.

"I've told you, you're more than a maid to me. Even though I don't know much about you, I feel we have a long way to go!" Olivia said with a smile and Julie smiled back.

"By the way, I'll need your help with something!!"

"What is it, ma'am Olivia? Tell me! if it's what I can do, I'll be glad to do it".

Olivia looked at the guards and they were busy just looking around. She leaned closer to Julie and said.

"I want us to run away!"

"Wh..." Julie wanted to yell but remembering the guards, she whispered "What?"

"Yes! and don't get me wrong. I don't mean running away forever,, I mean I want us to get away from the guards. I feel really suffocated with them around, Julie. This wasn't how I planned my day to be!." Olivia explained.

"We can't get past these guards and even if we do, what if the master finds out!?"

"I don't care! Besides, there won't tell him. We'd only be gone for a few minutes or thereabouts" Olivia said.

Julie breathed out and thought for a while.

"So, how do you want to go about it?" She asked.

"We'd make the run for it once we're out of the Mall.."

Julie nodded and almost immediately, the woman returned and gave the bags to the guards.

"I hope you like ours services, Mrs Osteen and I hope to see you next time!" The woman said.

"Sure!" Olivia responded and turned to the guards.

"I want you guys to walk in front of me. I don't want any of you lurking behind me. I'm giving you to this Instruction as your boss's wife! Do I make myself clear?"

The guards looked at themselves, probably thinking if they should do as she instructed or not.

"Fair enough then" A guard responded.

"Good, now let's go!"

They did exactly as she had instructed. They walked in from of her while she and Julie walked behind. As soon as they got outside, Olivia nudged at Julie slightly.

"Are you ready?" She whispered and Julie nodded.

"On three... 1, 2... 3" Olivia counted and as soon as she got to three, She and Julie made the run for it.

They knew the guards must have noticed because of the heavy footsteps behind them but Olivia was not ready to give up. Not now, not ever!!
