Chapter 4

Ayla

 

I bid my friend farewell as we made our way to my room, saying, "I'll see you later, Mila".

 

I went inside and I stopped when I saw that Professor Aiden was already there, he was sitting in his chair while looking at his laptop, he seems busy. There were only a few students so I immediately sat down

 

We still had ten minutes before our class starts, I took out my cellphone and decided to message sister Anjie

 

Me:

 

What are you doing, sister? I apologize for not picking up your call last night;  my wifi is not working well

 

 

I pouted my lips while waiting for her to message me back

 

 

 

AJ;

 

Good morning, sweetie. I just woke up. Today is my rest day. Regarding my call from last night, it's okay; I know you were either asleep or tired. Does your class not start tomorrow?

 

I smiled when she finally replied, AJ is short for sister Anjie

 

 

 

 

Me:

 

Yes

 

 

"Using cellphones are not allowed in my room" Professor Aiden suddenly said, I stopped typing and looked at him

 

He was still staring intently at the screen of his laptop, when I turned to my other classmates I saw that they were not holding cellphones, they were just talking

 

So he's talking about me?

 

I scrunchhe my nose and hid my face  in the bag, it's not class time yet, he's using his laptop too

 

 

I snorted while looking at the void, he's probably talking about me, is he mad at my cell phone?

 

He suddenly stood up and left the lecture hall,  the surrounding became even more noisy, the noise only stopped when suddenly someone entered

 

I looked up and saw a handsome man in front of me

 

"Professor Silas" called one of my classmates

 

He smiled and waved his hand "hi guys, I just wanted to ask if someone could help sir Aiden 

To sort your papers in his office, I can't help him because I have something else to do, anyone?"

 

Many people raised their hands, particularly the girls. The attractive brunette girl who was selected was happy as she descended the stairs and got away.

 

Another girl exclaimed, "Goodluck, girl. You can do that." She simply grinned and turned to leave.

 

 

I, on the other hand, resumed my frown and continued staring into space. After a short while, Sir Silas reappeared with the woman from before; her eyes were teary and she appeared to have been yelled at.

 

Her friends came up to her right away and asked her

 

"Um, the girl in the pink shirt, could you please help your professor?" Sir Silas exclaimed, glancing at me.

 

I looked to my side but I was the only one"yeah the cute girl who is turning around come here"he pointed at me

 

I went down the stairs and went to him and followed him out of the room

 

"Just help him out, I don't know why he's hot-headed. Just be quiet and don't make any noise so he won't scold you, he's stubborn hell he says he can fix it but he looks like a bear there, just help him sort all the paper in there don't try to seduce him lady" he waited a long time and I hadn't even spoken before he opened the office sir Aiden and pushed me in there

 

The whole office was silent, my eyes widened to see Sir Aiden's back rushing, his body is so tensed

 

"I said I don't need any fucking help why can't you understand--" he turned his body towards me and shouted loudly

 

I flinched and bowed my head not Daring to meet his sadistic one

 

There's a silence between us before he sighed defeatedly

 

"I-I'm sorry sir, I'll just go back to the r-room" I said softly and was about to leave when he spoke

 

"Sort all the papers on your left, don't distub me and be quiet" his voice is now a little soft compared to before

 

I was surprised by what he said but later I hurried to the side and arranged the papers on his table, bundle of papers was scattered in there

 

I was quiet while arranging the papers, when I finished it I picked it up to show him

 

"Eeghhhh" I had a hard time lifting it because it is damnn heavy, I know my face looks  crazy while I turn around to face him

 

"S-sir--" I stopped speaking when I saw him leaning on his desk and staring at me

 

I almost fell because of the shock, my cheeks became red as I looked away

 

"It's done sir" I announced

 

He slowly approached me and lifted the papers from me with his One hand, My eyes widened as I watched him Take it effortlessly

 

I looked up at him and caught him smiling but it disappeared immediately

 

"You may now leave" he announced in a cold voice I nodded and went out but before I could close the door I heard his last words

 

"cute"
