Chapter 11

 Alexa had cleaned up as directed. She stayed in the bathroom when she finished her bath, hesitant to come out. The clothing she was supposed to wear came in the form of a thin black lace nightgown that though it reached to her thighs, looked like it didn’t cover anything. This made her feel uneasy. She knew that by the time she got out of the room, there would be no turning back. ‘You should embrace your fate, Alexa. I know it’s hard but you will get through this.’ She told herself while wiping the tears away. She tugged here and there trying to cover her exposed skin, but it was impossible… So she covered herself with Ethan’s bathrobe.
