This chapter seems like it was published too early it has absolutely no connection to last and the beginning feels like we are missing critical info. Like when did alpha Reggie show up?

Yeah it was totally an abrupt shift. I can't tell if we're actually missing a steamy chapter or if it was purposeful.

I can understand skipping steamy scenes to keep the plot rolling, but the end of the last one to where this one starts is such an abrupt shift that it feels like something is missing. Maybe something is, maybe not. But the way it transitions implies something got skipped.
