Chapter 67 - Ex-girlfriend

Henry had no choice but to go to the operating room since it was an emergency. At the same time, Kimberly traveled eight hours to reach Manchester. She arrived at two in the afternoon the next day.

At the airport, a not-so-old woman in a formal suit approaches her.

"Mrs. Kimberly Conner, I'm Diane Harrison, Supervisor for the Manchester Amusement Park project; please to meet you, Madam." t

The woman politely introduces herself.

"Thank you, my pleasure to meet you too. Can we go now to the amusement park?" Kimberly was in a hurry.

"Madam, perhaps you need some rest first at the hotel?" Diane was suggested.

"No, I'm fine. I already slept on the plane." She refused.

"Are you sure, Mad___" Kimberly quickly cut Diane?

"Yes, can we go now?" She insisted.

"If that's what you want, madam, this way, please." Diane was puzzled by Kimberly's persistence to go to the site quickly. But then she obeyed since Kimberly was the wife of her boss.

They had to travel six more hours to their destination.
