I opened my eyes, but the familiar feeling of emptiness still lingered within me. It seemed like this void in my heart just kept expanding, growing with each passing day. Ever since those accusations were thrown at me, it's been there, a constant companion in my life. I wake up to it every morning, the pain greeting me before anything else.

Getting out of bed felt like dragging heavy shackles along with me. The prospect of facing another day at school was daunting, to say the least. But I had something driving me forward, something that pushed me to endure despite the agony. It was my mom's dream, our dream of a peaceful life in the human world. I couldn't give up, not when so much was riding on it. Even though I never imagined that achieving the life I wanted for my mom would be this hard.
