Chapter Sixteen- Wonderful Surprises

Jane Jenkins (POV)

I hate that bitch, Diana. I know she was lying and following us to cause trouble. Yet, we saw through it. I really hope that she heard my scream of ecstasy and screaming Lucas’s name. Serve her right. Lucas is mine and he will always be mine.

We went back to the packhouse laughing and joking. It feels so good to be with the one I am meant to be with. As we walked through the door, I saw Lari sitting in the living room beaming with a huge smile as she looked off into space. I turned to Lucas as he kissed my cheek and whispered, “Drake just linked me and wants to see me.”

I nodded and pointed to Lari, and he nodded in understanding. I watched as he went down the hall toward the Alpha’s office.

I turned and walked over to Lari and sat next to her on the sofa. “What made you so happy?”

She turned and looked at me and smiled, “I am glad to see you. I was looking for you.”

“Lucas took me out for a run. Of course, I had to ride on his back.” I answered, “What’s up?”
