LOGINMadison's Pov
My whole world felt as if it was spinning. What the heck was going on? "What did you just say?" I asked again, even though I had heard her the first time. I just wanted to be sure. "I said Derek is my fiancé," she giggled as she pressed her lips on his, and my eyes widened in shock. I felt so betrayed. How could my mom do this to me? I cried within myself. Technically, she didn't know, so it wasn't her fault. Fuck! So why did it have to hurt so badly? "Derek, this is my daughter, Madison. She's only eighteen, so please forgive her manners." "Fuck shit," I cursed inwardly as my gaze dropped down. Why did my mom have to expose me like that to him? "Eighteen?" He looked stunned for a moment as he glared at me. His face flickered with emotions I couldn't quite understand. I'm guessing he didn't think I was going to be that young. "Madison Greymond, you have been standing at the door for almost ten minutes. Please, I want to go inside my apartment." "Right." I quickly moved aside so they could get in, and I closed the door behind them. My heart was pounding fast. I couldn't believe this was happening. "Madison!" my mom yelled, and I jolted back to reality. "What's going on with you?" she asked. I swallowed hard as I stared at my mom. I didn't know what to say. "No... nothing," I stuttered. "You're acting strange." She said, and my heart started to race. "Get it together, Madison," I reminded myself. "You didn't bring a boy over to my house while I was gone, did you?" she asked. "I mean, that would explain why you're still in your pajamas at 12:45." "What! No, I didn't bring any boy over," I said hurriedly. My eyes quickly flashed over to Derek, who was sitting on the couch. I got worried that he might misunderstand, but again, I had to remind myself that it wasn't even his business. "Go and take your bath. I'll make lunch," she said. "Hmm." I ran to my room because I was too embarrassed to walk past Derek. When I got to my room, I quickly closed the door and tried to calm my beating heart. "What the fuck just happened?" I muttered. I shook my head as I ruffled my hair in frustration. If I knew he was coming, I would have dressed appropriately and taken a shower. I quickly took a sniff of my pajamas to check if they smelled bad. I covered my mouth when I realized I hadn't even brushed my teeth. "Just kill me," I groaned, closing my eyes to see if I could forget what just happened. My mind suddenly flashed to Bethany, and I rushed over to my phone. I had to tell her the kind of mess Whiskey had gotten me into. "Hello," her voice came out low, and I could tell she was just waking up. "Get your ass up, bitch," I yelled. "Keep your voice down before you ruin my ears, geez." I chuckled, realizing that birds of the same feather flock together. "Babe, I'm in serious trouble," I started hurriedly. "What is it?" she asked, her tone serious. I was about to ramble about how my one-night stand just showed up at my house as my mom's fiancé, but I decided I shouldn't say anything. I didn't want to burden her with my problem and unnecessary dramas. My one-night stand is going to be my stepdad—that's so messed up. "Maddy, are you okay?" she asked, clearly still trying to keep her eyes open. "Don't worry about it," I said. "Go back to sleep, we'll talk later." I ended the call and threw my phone to the side, then flopped onto my bed, my mind racing with so many possibilities. How was I going to face him? But then it occurred to me that there might be a possibility that he doesn't even remember me. My eyes widened with excitement as I jumped from my bed. "Yeah, there's no way he will remember," I mumbled with a nod. "Men don't usually remember their one-night stands," I added. On the other hand, I didn't want him to forget, but I guess it's probably better that way. "Madison!" I shook in fright when I heard my mom's voice. "I'll call you later. Bye." I quickly ended the call and rushed to the bathroom to get myself cleaned up. When I was done, I rushed down the stairs to the dining table and met my mom's face clenched in a frown. I forced a smile at her, and she rolled her eyes. I took my seat and realized I was sitting opposite Derek. His eyes locked on mine, but I averted my gaze. The plan was to eat, not engage in any conversation, and then run upstairs when I was done. I noticed Derek was caressing my mom's hand. I felt a little bit hurt, so I cleared my throat. "Honey, are you okay?" she asked, looking concerned. "I'm fine," I forced a smile before I stuffed some food in my mouth and chewed angrily. My mom and Derek exchanged glances and had this lovable smile on their faces, and I got irritated. They looked so good together...that's what annoyed me the most. "Get a room," I snapped when I couldn't take it anymore. "I'm trying to eat without throwing up," I frowned. "Honey..." my mom started as she pressed her foot against mine under the table, but she had a smile on her face. "Don't be rude to our guest." "It's fine," he said with a smile. His voice was so deep and masculine, and I loved it. "That's how teenagers are," he added with a smirk on his face. My smile dropped immediately, and I narrowed my eyes at him. "Pardon?" My mom quickly laughed to clear the tension in the air. "Let's all just eat," she added. I turned back to my food, but I was already pissed off. "Sweetheart, there's something Derek and I would like to tell you." Aside from secretly dating and getting engaged, I wondered what other ridiculous news she wanted to share.Madison's Pov My mom smiled at Derek, and he returned the gesture, causing my stomach to churn."Since we will be getting married, we decided to move in together," she said."What?" I yelled, kicking my chair backward as I stood up in anger.I didn't know if I was acting out of jealousy or if I was just mad that my mom always made decisions without telling me."Why do you always do this?" I yelled. My mom got angry and marched over to where I was.She grabbed my hand and pulled me closer."Madison, upstairs, now!" she demanded, clenching her jaw. I could tell she was furious.Derek was staring at me, but I turned my gaze away as I followed my mom upstairs. We got to her room, and she closed the door."Honey, what is your problem?" she asked."I noticed you've been acting up since I came back.""Oh, I'm acting up?" I scoffed, crossing my arms."You dated a man for almost a month and didn't tell me. You just decided to move in with him, and you're only telling me now?" I asked in disb

Madison's POVI paused for a moment, trying to recall if I could remember his name before it occurred to me that I didn't ask, and he didn’t introduce himself."Hello, Maddy. I'm waiting....who's this stranger that knocked up this uptight virgin?" She chuckled."I have no idea. I didn't even ask his name." I sighed with exhaustion. "And I'm not uptight."I didn't even know if I should regret what I did or if I should be happy."Why do I feel like you are enjoying this?" I frowned."Of course I am. Finally, you can date a boy, and it's not going to get weird when he finds out that you have a boyfriend." She explained. My mind suddenly flashed to my many attempts at having a boyfriend, but it all backfired when they realized I was a virgin."I guess you're right., I replied with a nod."So, how was your first time?""Well..."My voice trailed off as I played with a strand of my hair, biting the side of my lip as memories of last night flooded my mind."You little slut, you must be havi
Madison's Pov"I was thinking the same thing, love," he whispered, his lips gently brushing against mine. I couldn't stop myself from blushing hard. I didn't even know what I was doing, asking a stranger to have sex with me. What shocked me the most was my newfound courage. Was this all a side effect of the booze, or was I just too horny? He paid for our drinks, and we left. The drive to his hotel room was silent; I wasn't interested in talking. My mind was already running with the most unholy thoughts I could imagine. We got to his room, and he closed the door behind me. My eyes fell on his room, and I noticed how cozy it was."Your room looks..." Whatever I was going to say died in my stomach when I felt his lips brushing over mine hungrily. I closed my eyes in ecstasy. God, why did he have to taste so good? I thought. He pinned me against the wall, using his hands for support. Another hand explored every inch of my body he could find. He grabbed my boobs, and I knew it wa
Madison's Pov “Hello Miss Madison, I'm sorry to break this news to you but your dad has passed away.” Mr. William's voice echoed in my ears as I struggled to breathe. The words hit me like a punch to the gut. My vision blurred, and I nearly lost my balance. "I...I don't understand." I stuttered. "Mr. Williams, is this some sort of joke?" My voice cracked as I forced down the lump in my throat."Is...is this must be some sort of prank to bring us back home, right?" I was desperately clinging to that hope, praying that he would tell me it was just a cruel joke. But the silence on the other end of the line told me otherwise. When Mr. Williams finally spoke, his tone was gentle but firm. "I'm afraid not, Miss Madison. He's gone."I gasped, covering my mouth with my hand as tears streamed down my face. The words kept echoing in my mind: "He's gone.""Mr. Williams..." I tried again, my voice barely a whisper."Miss Madison, no matter how many times you ask, the answer is going to be
