Madison's Pov “Hello Miss Madison, I'm sorry to break this news to you but your dad has passed away.” Mr. William's voice echoed in my ears as I struggled to breathe. The words hit me like a punch to the gut. My vision blurred, and I nearly lost my balance. "I...I don't understand." I stuttered. "Mr. Williams, is this some sort of joke?" My voice cracked as I forced down the lump in my throat."Is...is this must be some sort of prank to bring us back home, right?" I was desperately clinging to that hope, praying that he would tell me it was just a cruel joke. But the silence on the other end of the line told me otherwise. When Mr. Williams finally spoke, his tone was gentle but firm. "I'm afraid not, Miss Madison. He's gone."I gasped, covering my mouth with my hand as tears streamed down my face. The words kept echoing in my mind: "He's gone.""Mr. Williams..." I tried again, my voice barely a whisper."Miss Madison, no matter how many times you ask, the answer is going to be

Madison's POVI paused for a moment, trying to recall if I could remember his name before it occurred to me that I didn't ask, and he didn’t introduce himself."Hello, Maddy. I'm waiting....who's this stranger that knocked up this uptight virgin?" She chuckled."I have no idea. I didn't even ask his name." I sighed with exhaustion. "And I'm not uptight."I didn't even know if I should regret what I did or if I should be happy."Why do I feel like you are enjoying this?" I frowned."Of course I am. Finally, you can date a boy, and it's not going to get weird when he finds out that you have a boyfriend." She explained. My mind suddenly flashed to my many attempts at having a boyfriend, but it all backfired when they realized I was a virgin."I guess you're right., I replied with a nod."So, how was your first time?""Well..."My voice trailed off as I played with a strand of my hair, biting the side of my lip as memories of last night flooded my mind."You little slut, you must be havi

Madison's Pov My mom smiled at Derek, and he returned the gesture, causing my stomach to churn."Since we will be getting married, we decided to move in together," she said."What?" I yelled, kicking my chair backward as I stood up in anger.I didn't know if I was acting out of jealousy or if I was just mad that my mom always made decisions without telling me."Why do you always do this?" I yelled. My mom got angry and marched over to where I was.She grabbed my hand and pulled me closer."Madison, upstairs, now!" she demanded, clenching her jaw. I could tell she was furious.Derek was staring at me, but I turned my gaze away as I followed my mom upstairs. We got to her room, and she closed the door."Honey, what is your problem?" she asked."I noticed you've been acting up since I came back.""Oh, I'm acting up?" I scoffed, crossing my arms."You dated a man for almost a month and didn't tell me. You just decided to move in with him, and you're only telling me now?" I asked in disb

MADISON“Your mom isn't here.” He broke it down to me.“What?” I exclaimed in shock, looking at him like he was telling lies as I rushed downstairs, pushing him out of the way. She wasn't there, I ran back upstairs and pushed their room door open as I ran in and checked everywhere but she was nowhere to be found.Just as I was rushing out, I bumped into his sturdy chest, I looked at him in annoyance as I raised my fingers and poked on his chest, screaming at him in a loud voice,“ Where's my mother?” He tilted his head in shock, then he said slowly,“ She went out for work and she will be coming back late tonight.”“ Why?” I immediately shot back, overwhelmed by his words. What did he mean by this?“ She said she would be going for some get-together.” He says in a gentle voice, he didn't look pressured or corrupted by anything. It was worrying.“ And you?” I finally asked, I guessed that's what bored me the most tonight. I was scared of where he would be at while I was abandoned in th

MADISON“ Ah-” I croaked out, pausing halfway as I realized I didn't fall, my head didn't bang against the floor instead a hand hooked on my waist and pulled me closer, I pulled my eyes open and looked over.It was him, he was so close and his strong scent clouded my mind, my eyes getting filled with tears as I said,“ I'm okay.” I said softly, pulling away from him as I stood by myself and went down as I picked up the snacks that were scattered around on the floor.I looked at him with a pout, rubbing my head as our heads just bumped. He looked very sorry, waving his hands as he said, “ I'm really really sorry. I didn't mean to.” He looked very innocent while he said that, I couldn't help but have some thoughts. The night flashed in my mind. The red crept my cheeks, my mouth moving to the side as my eyes thinned from what I thought about. Our passionate night. He was a beast that night, he was driven by passion and he was relentless as he tortured my body until I gave up and fainted
