SALVATORE

I stormed out of Miguel’s hospital room, fury radiating off me like heat.

My fists were clenched, my vision edged with red, and John’s easy hug with Miguel kept playing in my head like a curse.

That casual embrace wasn’t just the cause of the madness. It was what he had done to keep Miguel away from me.

The sterile hallway reeked of antiseptic and false calm. I didn’t care who saw. I caught John by the arm and dragged him roughly toward a quiet corridor near a vending machine.

My hand flew before I even thought, smacking across his cheek with a crack that echoed through the hallway.

“You kept him from me!” I shouted. A nurse down the hall turned to look, startled, but I didn’t care. “You knew where he was this whole time, and you didn’t tell me! I was falling apart, John! I begged you to help me find him!”

John staggered back, raising a hand to his reddened cheek. His eyes met mine with a fire that matched my own. “You didn’t deserve him, Boss,” he said quietly but with

There is a fine line between love and obsession. John was protecting Miguel from what he knows. Not the smartest thing to do with his boss but understandable.

this is so complicated.. well, at this point, I would say John deserves Miguel more than Salvatore... John hasn't hurt him like Salvatore did

MIGUELLeo was the first to stir. His little feet thudded softly against the floorboards, followed by the creak of the bathroom door and the unmistakable hum of him trying to sing under his breath. I’d never seen a child so happy to go to school. We had found a safe place for him and Isabella since I also had lectures to take, and Paul would be busy at work.Beside me, Isabella let out a tiny, contented snore from her crib in the corner. She had kicked one sock off in the night again.I pushed myself upright and rubbed my face as the weight of the day began to settle into my shoulders. The clock read 6:43 AM. The air was still soft with morning light, and the apartment smelled faintly of soap and fabric softener. It wasn’t big. It wasn’t elegant. But for now, it was safe.“Leo!” I called gently, standing to stretch. “Five more minutes before we start the morning rush, okay?”“Okay,” he called back from the bathroom, though I could already hear him brushing his teeth.I went to the win

  • My Stepfather's Deadly Obsession   We will start from scratch

PIETROShit! Shit! Shit!!! He fucking remembered. The thought scraped at the inside of my skull as I paced the garden like a caged dog. Mama sat stiffly on the bench near the olive tree, wringing her hands. She looked small, almost pale, like she hadn’t slept in weeks. But I didn’t care about that right now. Salvatore had remembered. That was the only thing on my mind. That little shit had remembered.“He wasn’t supposed to,” I said, more to myself than her. “He wasn’t fucking supposed to.”Mama didn’t answer. The wind rustled the vines on the garden wall. Distant sounds of the staff clinking dishes from lunch filtered through the air, but here, in this twisted corner of paradise, it felt like the calm before a storm. And it was a storm. One that I’d spent years preparing for, and now, it was slipping through my fingers.I turned to her. “You said he wouldn’t. You said it was impossible.”She looked up finally. Her mouth was trembling. “He wasn’t meant to, Pietro. I thought we had en

SALVATORESomething wasn’t right. It started like it always did, with just a flicker behind my eyes. Then pressure. Then pain. Then… a face. Then a voice… Miguel’s voice.I sat on the edge of my bed, clutching my skull like it was splitting open from the inside. My heart pounded like I’d just run a mile uphill. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t move. I saw fragments of his laugh and curls. I could see my lips in his, my cock deep inside him as we danced away on the sheets.God. What was this?I stumbled back onto the bed and curled in on myself, my hands trembling as the headache tore through me. Every image brought a stab of pressure behind my eyes. My throat burned. My ears rang.I was drowning in something I couldn’t name. And then there was Pietro, standing in the doorway like he’d always known I would fall apart eventually. He leaned in with that calm, confident smile. “Get up. You’ll feel better once we’re moving.”“I—” My voice cracked. I tasted metal. “Pietro, I don’t…”“We can’t

  • My Stepfather's Deadly Obsession   A puppet

PIETROEverything was unfolding just as it should. Like a damn symphony, finally playing on beat. The way my mind worked was insane. You know, most people think that Mama was the one in charge here, that she was the smart one, but they had no idea how much knowledge she drew out of me.I always covered my lost grounds. I never made mistakes. Unlike most divine people like me, I could act. I’d been doing it for more than fifteen years now, acting every fucking day, and perfecting the character I’d brought to life. Pietro was the sweet, calm guy, drawing to the sidelines when it was necessary to let his golden brother, Salvatore, shine. It had always been that way.I brought Salvatore to this point he was in today. Of course, people wouldn’t understand even if I explained to them, but I knew exactly what I was saying. I’d killed, pushed off, and broken people just to give Salvatore this glory he had around him today, and the least he could do was pay back the family. I stood by the win

  • My Stepfather's Deadly Obsession   A lead

MIGUELThe house smelled like roasted garlic and fresh basil. Paul had insisted we make something warm.“Comfort food,” he called it, while the kids were sprawled out in front of the TV, transfixed by some loud cartoon about magical animals. I was just glad they were laughing again.Paul’s house felt… good. It had bright walls, soft rugs, and a lot of throw pillows. He kept trailing behind me in the kitchen, brushing my shoulder, taking over my cutting board with a grin and a squeeze to the waist. I rolled my eyes, but I let him hover. It felt nice, having someone flutter around me like I was worth orbiting.I stirred the tomato sauce and leaned against the counter.“I tucked photos everywhere,” I said suddenly.Paul looked up from the cheese he was grating. “What?”“In the house,” I said, quieter. “Before I left with the kids. I didn’t want to just go. I… I thought maybe if he started remembering, even in flashes, he’d have something to hold onto.”Paul set the grater down, wiped his

  • My Stepfather's Deadly Obsession   A perfect plan

PIETRO[TEN YEARS AGO]Matteo was the rot that wouldn’t stop spreading, and I’ll be damned if that rot began to spread to me. Every time I watched Salvatore shrink around him, soften his voice, and bend like a reed in the wind just to please him… my stomach would twist. Salvatore—our pride, our power—turning into a damn kitten every time Matteo walked into a room with those puppy eyes and those gentle little hands. I hated faggots! A lot of them, and Matteo was going to end up as one of those sissy boys who danced at the night club and took the dick of whoever had the most cash. A fucking disgrace.Mama saw it too. She always had foresight. She was already sitting by the window when I walked in, lost in thought as usual. Her mind worked better than a fucking clock. I loved that she had an answer to everything. “Salvatore has started skipping meetings,” I told her.Her eyes flicked up. As usual, they were dead and cold as marble. “Because of Matteo,” she completed the sentence.Ther
