Episode 2

Leanor's spine rigidified, yet she stayed cool headed, as though she had just barely remembered him.

"Hello Rufus..."

Rufus casually slid one hand into his pocket and sneered.

"Just Hello Rufus?"

His voice dropped to a profound and capturing tone.

Purposely faking pleasantness and distance, Leanor went about like she didn't have any acquaintance with him.

Rufus' long eyelashes marginally brought down, his look focused all over. As he paid attention to her impacted voice, his tone developed considerably more far off.

"Not so much as an embrace, huh?"

Smothering a dry grin, Leanor held her self-control briefly before considerately answering,

"Not today. I'm in a rush."

Rufus frowned and peered down at her condescendingly, his attractive highlights stressed by the faint lighting. A gleam of bothering streaked through his demeanor.

Separating his dainty lips, he snickered at himself.

"No doubt, Leanor Ford, if i shift on my eighteenth birthday celebration and find out that you're not my mate, I'll sit tight for your mate and challenge him to a duel."

This abrupt announcement left Leanor paralyzed, the recollections of their past came flooding back to her like a river.

Attempting to let out a fake smile and make her exit, Leanor ended up surprised as Rufus gradually raised his hand, and grabbed her back.

The commonality they had recently shared now felt like a deception.

"Anyway, which room are you in?"

Leanor was bewildered.

"Huh?"

Shutting the distance between them, Rufus made two strides towards her, almost pushing her against the wall with his tall figure.

"Which room, if you don't want me to kiss you right now?"

Her heart trembled, and though she wanted to refuse, Leanor found herself subconsciously answering,

"104."

...104

Rufus stood there quickly in bewilderment, then, at that point, the truth unfolded upon him.

Lucidity gleamed in his eyes, and a knowing grin gradually bended between his serious foreheads.

Taking too steps back to make space, he signaled for her to go.

"You can go."

Eased, Leanor let out a breath and quickly advanced toward room 104.

However,, the floor ended up being big, and it took her some time to find room 104. Luckily, she in the end tracked down it.

But, when she opened the entryway, her anxious state of mind quickly transformed into alarm, since she abruptly saw Rufus attractive and practically wicked face at the first sight.

The feeling in his eyes was dull and muddled, however he resembled a tracker who was trusting that the little white bunny will fall into a snare.

He had long expected that she would fall into the snare out and about she should pass.

His eyes were consuming like a grassland fire, and his lively grin was as though There is by all accounts something spreading from the edge of the eye to the tip of the eyebrow.

With only one look from him, Leanor was promptly frozen completely still, unfit to move.

Did she ended up in the wrong room?

But, before she could react, she heard her mother say happily,

"Leanor, what are you doing standing at the door? Come in quickly."

Leanor glared! Is Rufus her stepbrother?

In any case, Rufus eyes consumed along his view and zeroed in all over her, causing her to feel anxious.

Eyes confronting one another.

Leanor's face out of nowhere become red.

How is it that there could be such a coincidence on the planet?

She sat down and greeted Mr. Carter, however she was unable to greet Rufus so she could say one sentence Hi.

Rufus chuckled gently,

But, that chuckling resembled a fire in her heart, exploding the dangerous quickly.

He purposely said in a drone!

"Sister! Which academy would you say you are in?"

Leanor held a spoon. , continued to mix in the soup, he claimed not to know her, which made her wanted to track down a hole to creep in shame,

"Gifted Academy."

Rufus didn't let her go, held his face with his thin fingers, and kept on asking cheerfully,

"Can you now use a sword now?"

Leanor gritted her teeth and murmured,

"Yes."

Rufus grinned knowingly, and as his eyes moved, Leanor's face practically turned red.

Mr. Carter was initially stressed that Rufus would embarrass himself and leave, yet he didn't expect that he would really go to the restroom and return, and he would have such a decent discussion with his new sister, which at last caused Carter to feel better.

Previously, Rufus used to overlook his new sister.

Mr. Carter grinned and afterward gave a gift box to Leanor,

"Here.. I got you a little gift. I don't know if you would like it."

Leanor said amiably,

" Thanks.."

She also spoke appropriately, and Mr. Carter impression of her became even better.

What a good child. She has completely different personalities from his son. She is also different from those daughters before. Kate teaches children really well.

Carter eyes fell carefully on Kate as they locked eye togather.

After the meal, the two older folks planned to watch a film, and Carter requested that Rufus send Leanor back.

At the point when Leanor came out of the estate, the cool night breeze blew over her skin, which eased the intensity in her heart, as though she was feeling significantly better.

"Done with the dinner finally."

Rufus expressed from behind, and Leanor subliminally glanced back at him.

He was resting nonchalantly against a Lamborghini car, his eyes faint and hazy, and his chilly, smoky white face showed distance and frigidity.

In any case, he didn't talk, just took a gander at her unobtrusively, and Leanor felt remorseful by his eyes.

Maybe the vacancy and guilt of of the years came flooding back.

She could trust that the Rufus wouldn't hold resentment. All things considered, the entire school had some awareness of his quest for her.

However, after graduation, she let him go.

Leanor thought hard to find a topic to discuss, in order to make the air less off-kilter.

"My mother was exceptionally cheerful a little while ago. You...have an exceptionally sweet mouth."

Rufus checked out at her with a non-grin,

"I have a sweet mouth, have you tasted it?"

Leanor was stunned and shook her head rapidly.

Rufus appeared to grin with figuring out, a grin on his smoky white attractive face,

"You dated me in those days, we slept together in a bed. Did you actually never kiss me secretly when i was asleep?"

Leanor stifled at his improper words.

He was clearly the one pursuing her.

"Darn it all! I never slept with you.."

"Try not to lie! We slept together once and you were my girlfriend for a month.."
