The birds followed closely, each having no chance to waver and following Evan's lead.

Leanor finally let out a helpful moan when she saw that the large birds had stopped following them.

She patted her heart, which was beating hard all the time, and glanced at Evan, only to find him entering another cave, and she had doubts.

Just as she was about to chase after him, Evan entered the cave and everyone disappeared in a split second.

"Rufus! Raina! Alice! Can you hear me? Are you still here?"

Leanor called out anxiously, but there was no response. She looked around to locate them. Suddenly she felt like she had been hit by something. When she opened her eyes, she saw herself in a desert
