Chapter 14: Fake Ring

Despite her raging thoughts filled with doubt and questions, Kathlyn managed to retort, trying to maintain her cool façade.

"You're lying, Kourtney! You can't just switch off your feelings like that. Brandon used to be your whole world, but now, he's with me. You're merely trying to convince yourself that you're over him, but deep down, you know you still love and want him!"
