KYLIE's POV

"Can you feel their energy? Are they good witches or bad witches?" Elijah whispered beside me and closed my eyes so that I could feel the energy surrounding us.

"I don't feel anything negative from them." I said when I opened my eyes, "But they don’t entirely feel like friends either."

"Well, whether or not they decide to be friendly, they are going to have to hand over what they are protecting," Jason said. He tried to take a step forward, but I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Not without a plan, Jason." I told him gently, "That's an entire coven right there. We can't just move in and demand for the relic."

"Yeah, Kylie is right. They don't look like they would readily give up whatever they are protecting. So we sort of have to tread carefully," Elijah reasoned, and Jason finally nodded in agreement.
