The witches who brought me to that place, didn't deem it fit to get me the hell out of there, so I ran. I made a beeline for the cottage Jason, and Elijah and I had slept in when we were here together. For some reason, the familiar was what felt safe.

I was panting the moment I got there. The doors were shut, so I did a spell to break it open. Thankfully it was still empty. I locked the door behind me, and tried to calm my racing heart.
