KYLIE's pov

"I didn't think it meant much of anything. I mean, I thought it was like every other vision." Elijah started as his eyes took on a faraway look, "I kept asking myself at what I needed to know and at what the vision would end, but when the monks showed up with witches, I still put up a fight. The whole thing felt too real to not back."

"yeah. I think I felt some of that too." I explained, my eyes fixed on him as I waited for the rest of his story.

"Then suddenly the witches started with their damned chants." he said and touched his temple, "each moment that passed by had me feeling like they were corrupting my mind.
