Chapter 21

We finished the game when lunch was almost over so we went to the break room to grab some tea and doughnut. After we were done, he decided to walk me to my office. But since we are in a secret relationship, when people come closer to us we change our subject to something related to work. When we got closer to my office, we heard that Shawn’s father was here. We had a meeting that day and Shawn’s father joined us. Unfortunately there was no opportunity that made Shawn and his father to talk until the end of the meeting.

When his father talks: he sometimes adds ‘My son’ to the conversation. And when everyone started to walk out his father said “Son, you should come home early tonight. Your sister is back in town and we are planning a surprise party for her.”

Shawn looked at me and I looked at him. I, with my eyes, started to show him signals to call him dad. Shawn shook his head no. I figured it was due to the number of people in the room but I still looked at him with wide eyes. So Sh
