"Alpha....she said she doesn't want to be bothered...." I heard Gretchen talking to someone as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom.

Before I could make sense of what was going on, the door was pushed open and Vance pushed his way in, an annoyed look on his face.

I looked directly at Gretchen, a questioning look on my face.

She was basically my personal maid now, and I had told her I didn't want to see Vance. At least not before I figured out what I was going to do.

"I told him you said you didn't want to see anyone....." Gretchen said silently, looking away from me.

"Get out," Vance said coldly, and Gretchen made her escape.

"I don't want to see you either, so you can as well leave. I don't have anything to say to you," I said coldly.

I could not understand why Vance could not just leave me alone.

I had no idea what he wanted from me.

Did he want to use me against Trevor? Was that why he was keeping me here against my will?

    CAMILE My eyes snapped open at once, and it was like they had never been closed in the first place. I looked around me, and I instantly realized that I was not in the bedroom that I had grown used to over the last couple of weeks.
