Chapter 20: "Letting go"

 Kristina Valdez POV

We went to the nearest market we could find but it was quite far. Either that or we just don't know the way, signals here are quite weak. We can barely use Waze to know which direction we'll be taking.

After a while, we saw a local passing by, Kevin asks, "Hello, are there any market around here or someplace we can buy some food?"

He points at the direction forward, "Yes but the road is quite narrow, I doubt your car will fit in."

"Oh, okay, thanks!"

Kevin unbuckled his seatbelt and says, "You can stay here Kristina, just lock the door and wait for me."
