Alice POV
I turned my head in shock, and there, the hot Alpha—Ethan—was stepping out of the closet while calmly adjusting his tie.
I couldn’t believe it.
The hot Alpha who had just flirted with me the whole time was actually the Ethan Nelson?
The famous Alpha asshole, in a different kind of way compared to his arrogant, domineering brother. He had a reputation as the most mischievous devil, notorious for playing with girls' hearts, but never even let any of them get a bite of him.
Rumor has it he loved to let girls fall for him and then dump them without a blink.
Damn, it can’t be!
But as soon as I saw his handsome face, there were no more doubts about his identity.
Ethan had the same sinfully perfect face as Aiden—like they’d both been carved from the same block of temptation.
They shared that fiery red hair too, bright as flame, though Ethan’s was longer, tied loosely at the back of his head.
But while Aiden looked like he’d ruin you on purpose, Ethan looked like he’d do it just for the hell of it.
No one could ever mistake one for the other.
His eyes, those blue ones I had glimpsed while hiding in the locker, now under the full light, appeared cold and deep, like the surface of a frozen winter lake.
With a teasing grin, he said, “Hey there, Aiden. So, how’s the cheerleader treating you?”
Aiden frowned, clearly displeased, and glanced at Ethan before turning to Miranda. "You’ve been mixing around with my brother?"
I was quite shocked by his logic, but on the other hand, Miranda seemed to be enjoying the situation as usual. She loved nothing more than having men fight over her.
She stepped closer to Aiden, clinging to his arm in that sickly sweet voice of hers.
“Oh Aiden, you know I’ve always loved you. Maybe Ethan had feelings for me, but I never returned them.”
She turned with an exaggerated air of grace toward Ethan, adding, “Though I rejected you, Ethan, you didn’t need to stoop so low as to let this… lowly girl get close to you. How shameful.”
She waved her hand dramatically in front of her nose, as if to express her disgust toward me.
I was done with this. I had no interest in being pulled into the sick game between these twins and Miranda. If I had only heard rumors about the twins before, being tangled up with Miranda now made it clear to me—they were just as despicable as any other arrogant Alpha.
"Enough, Miranda…" I was about to speak when a playful voice interrupted me.
“That’s not quite right, Miss I-FORGOT-YOUR-NAME,” Ethan chimed in from behind me. Leaning in far too close, he rested his chin on my shoulder in a way that was overly familiar and said in a tone of regret. “While I do find this lovely girl charming, she’s actually here to confess her love to someone else.”
I froze as he raised a familiar letter high in the air.
My eyes widened. How did he get it…? That was my love letter and the reason why I ended up here!
"Let’s find out who the lucky guy is." Ethan read aloud, "'To my dearest love,’ Oh, that’s sweet…'"
Desperate to stop him, I spun around and tried to snatch the letter, but the damn twins were too tall. Ethan effortlessly raised his hand higher, clearly enjoying watching me scramble, and my attempts didn’t even interrupt his reading.
“‘You wouldn’t fix things because you’re an Alpha;
“you’d be there because you’re you.
“No matter what you think of this, I’m grateful for the moments you’ve unknowingly given me.’
“This reads like poetry. And it’s signed…
“ ‘An Omega girl whose life brightened because of you’?”
Ethan exaggeratedly grimaced, leaning back with a dramatic flair, waving the letter as he spoke, "That’s pretty desperate, little Omega. If this were for my brother, you’re definitely not his type."
At that moment, Aiden’s patience finally ran out. He stepped forward, knocking the letter from Ethan’s hand, and his leather boots stepped on the paper underfoot. Looming over me, he commanded with a cold voice, "Look up, Omega."
Tears of humiliation welled up uncontrollably in my eyes, but I roughly wiped them away, stubbornly glaring down at the letter now smeared with boot marks.
I never intended for this letter to be made public. I had just planned to sneak in and leave it in my secret crush Dean’s locker.
I never expected a response. After all, all Alphas only wanted their destined mate, and I had no wolf, meaning I would never have a mate for life.
But I thought... even an Omega could dream.
Guess I was wrong.
My defiance seemed to anger Aiden. He grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up.
His bare chest flexed with the movement, muscles rippling, and I was engulfed in his Alpha scent.
It was a cool, salty, oceanic aroma—not a gentle breeze, but the deep, dangerous undertow of the sea that sent a shiver down my spine.
But all I felt was irritation. My chin burned from his rough grip, and through tear-filled eyes, I glared at his bright golden eyes. “Let go of me!” I struggled.
He ignored my struggles—or maybe they amused him. He brushed my bangs aside, studying my face like I was some little puppy, then smirked in approval. "Your face is passable if you want my attention."
Such an Arrogant Alpha! Who even wants his approval?!
But before I could argue, his right hand gripped the back of my head, and he leaned down, pressing his lips forcefully against mine.
My eyes widened in shock. As the pack's unwanted Omega and the nerdy outcast at school, I had never been kissed before—but that was about to change.
His tongue invaded my mouth with a dominating force, and the heat of his male presence made my heart race. I hated him, but his kiss was just so... unbelievable. Just when I thought I might pass out from lack of air, he finally let me go. I gasped for breath, completely bewildered by his sudden actions.
“The kiss was bad,” Aiden declared, still wearing that arrogant expression, like he didn’t care about anyone. As if he weren’t the one who had just kissed me senseless. His fingers traced over his lips in a teasing manner before he announced, “Not good enough. You can leave now.”
I’d had enough! The twins were both arrogant, shameless, and impossible. My frustration turned into fury, and before I knew it, I did something I would never normally dare.
I stormed over, kicked Aiden in the groin, and as he instinctively dodged, I slapped him hard across the face.
“Who cares about you or your brother? The one I like is Dean—Dean Wilson! He’s a thousand times better than either of you Alphas!” I declared loudly. From the corner of my eye, I could see Miranda's face twisted in shock and Ethan's amused expression, like he was enjoying the show.
On the outside, I kept up a confident front, but inside, my heart sank like a heavy stone.
Damn it, I actually hit the tyrant Aiden.
I’m doomed!
Alice POVEven after they disappeared across the quad, Ethan’s laughter echoed in the back of my skull like a siren I couldn’t turn off.I felt like I’d just walked out of a storm—knees shaky, skin hot. The crowd had mostly dispersed, but the weight of all those stares still clung to me like static, especially around my collarbone, where the heat of that damn mark still pulsed under my skin.I tugged my collar shut, fingers trembling slightly as if I could stuff the memory back inside along with the black-red thorned rose that now branded my chest.Beatrice was the first to break the silence. “Okay. That was... a lot.”Her voice was low, like she was afraid of saying it too loud and summoning them back.“I thought you said you were gonna keep your head down,” Liz added dryly, adjusting her glasses, her dark eyes flicking to my collarbone with clear concern. “That doesn’t look like laying low to me.”“I didn’t ask for this,” I muttered, gripping the strap of my backpack so hard my knuc
Alice POVThe voice belonged to Ethan. He didn’t even blink at Liz's feeble attempt to block me. Just reached past her like she wasn’t even there and grabbed me by the collar, lifting me like a little puppy. His grin was pure mischief—cocky, devilish, and way too pleased with himself.“Miss Bunny,” he purred, “your ass is way too perky to be hiding behind someone else.”The way he said it—low, teasing—was deliberately flirtatious, and of course, it drew a round of snickers and whispers from the crowd.‘Don’t call me that,’ I snapped, glaring at him, yanking his hand away. But inside, I was already calculating my odds.Showing weakness in front of jerk Alphas like these? That’s suicide. First rule of survival I learnt growing up in my pack.Aiden stood just behind his brother, hands in his pockets, throwing Ethan a look that was barely a warning. Ethan took the hint, stepping back with an exaggerated bow, like saying, “Fine, your prey. I don’t need a taste.”Only then did Aiden speak
Alice POVI didn’t expect to see Sabrina, the head of the sorority, walking toward us. She and Melinda were usually rivals, competing over clothes, parties, boyfriends, everything. Normally, they shouldn’t be siding together anyway. With a fake smile, Sabrina, with her followers, stood next to Melinda. She looked at me with a look of novelty, her tone soft as if she were talking to some little pet. "Oh, you poor little thing, must have been dreaming of Dean’s charity, do you?”“What are you doing here?” Melinda was clearly aroused by Sabrina's competitive spirit. She gave me a hard push and pushed me among her sisters, who then pinned me to the ground, unable to move. "This is me teaching my slave. It has nothing to do with you!"“Oh really?” Sabrina carelessly fiddled with her beautiful fingernails while she took out some sort of sticker. “Well, I’m here under the Nelsons’ commission, to pass something.”Melinda's eyes widened as soon as she heard the names of the Nelson brothers
Alice POVI ran home, slammed the door behind me, and my heart pounded in my chest. I couldn’t believe how I got the nerve to hit Aiden, the tyrant nobody dared to disobey. That didn’t feel like me. I was born a wolfless Omega and learnt my lesson to lay low.Luckily, for some reason I didn’t know, neither the twins nor Melinda chased after me. But I know better than trusting the odds of them letting me go this easily.Moon Goddess bless me!The sound of the wood door slamming sharply interrupted my mom. She came out to greet me, with her her face lit up with a smile as she held a beautiful amethyst necklace in her hand. She seemed to be happier than I used to see her.But when she saw my red, swollen eyes, her expression quickly turned to concern.“Honey, what happened?” she asked, opening her arms for me.I rushed into her embrace, wiping my tears on her shirt, trying to act tough. “It’s nothing, just those pack jerks. I gave them a hard time.”My mom was the best, but she was also

Alice POVI was hiding in a closet with a perfectly shaped Alpha. And by perfect I mean eight-pack abs. Sharp V-lines. Everything. His hot breath against my ear, his manly scent and Alpha auro enveloping my body, making my legs go weak.Outside the closet was Alpha Aiden, riding on a slender blonde. Her moans are high and joyful, masking any small movements between the two of us."OH yes, Aiden, you are so good,” comes with the sound of two bodies banging on the table.I almost shivered because of that pornlike sound. The stranger Alpha's strong arm pressed against my butt, as if to stop me from moving further, but that scorching temperature almost made me jump up.The closet door made a sound that scared me all over.“What's there, ” I heard Alpha Aiden say. Fortunately, his bedmate seemed to hug him, and soon there was another sticky kiss outside. The blue-eyed Alpha almost pinned onto my body said in his breathy tone, “Aiden's gonna piss off if he finds out you broke into his terr
