Chapter 49 Secretive Noah 

I stood there staring at Noah and could see his eyes looking pained.

"Forget it, I'm going back to the children," I growled. I asked Rune in Russian where the restroom was and he gave me directions. I smiled and thanked him as I left them both, closing the door behind me.

"Are you aware of anything, wolfy? Has Keir shared with you?" I asked Adria quietly.

She whined and informed me that Keir has been very distant the past few days and hadn't spoken to her. That was concerning. I sighed and glanced down the hall and saw Faelon still running around. I called out to him and told him to follow after me. I looked down at him and asked what he meant about his father. He glanced up at me and was chewing on his lip, his small fangs were showing.

"I can't say for certain but it has to do with the darkness within him," he said solemnly and I nodded as I ruffled his black hair. I stopped at the door to the bathroom and waved him inside. He smiled and rushed inside, shutting the door quickly.
