Chapter Ninety-nine

Before noon, Cole, Isabelle, Xavier, Amèlie, Hallec, Tiana, Darrow, Wulfrun, Opaline, Jason, Ariston, and Berion, were ushered forward for clearing at Teterboro Airport, about 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan, New York.

After the agent sent by Aerospace Inc., had hastened the process of creating their passenger manifest, he led them to immigration services and FBO, but he first approached the lady on duty first. He passed a card to her and spoke with her for a few minutes before gesturing to them to come forward. Cole held on to Isabelle and they went first.

“First time visiting Russia?” the lady asked with a polite smile. Cole took a glance at Isabelle, he could feel her anxiety and he smiled down at her in encouragement.

“First time for me,” she said looking at Cole and then directing her gaze to meet the other woman’s. She nodded, typing fast on her keyboard.

“Not me...” Cole said with a chuckle.

“Where exactly will you be going in Russia, ma'am?”

“Mos---Moscow,” she replied
