Chapter 4

Hazel's POV

Fraternity; that one thing that I've been telling myself to avoid at any costs when it's time for me to go to college. But here I am, standing in front of one of the frat houses of the students from Chicago University.

And the fact that Kat is actually a part of the sorority sisters really surprised me. Aren't they all supposed to be annoying like the queen bee on typical college drama? How come Kat is so approachable, and friendly?

"Here.." Keira hands me a cup of drink that she took from the tables over the porch, as we make our way towards the front door.

I watch as Keisha takes a sip on her cup, making a weird face as she tastes it, while Keira is drinking and vibing to the music.

"Ugh..." It tasted weird, and quite strong. Keisha laughs as she looks at my expression.

"Yeah, my thoughts exactly..." She chuckles.

"Relax, it's just a booze." Keira laughs when she watches both Keisha's and my expression.

"Cheers to our freshman year!" She adds as she drinks more, moving her body to dance a little.

Is she drunk?? Already?

The sound of the music is a blast to my ear even when we're still inside the car, so standing right here even makes it worse. Geez, we can't even talk properly to each other without damn yelling.

The porch is full with a lot of students drinking booze, and playing silly games. All the loud laughs from inside of the frat house could also be heard clearly as we were standing in front of the open door.

"Remind me again why we are doing this?" I raised a brow at Keira, who looks gorgeous in her red dress, as I finished the rest of my drink in one go, putting away the cup on the table just beside the front door.

"Ughh.." I will not drink that kind of thing, ever again.

"Oh, come on! Let's enjoy our college life... a little frat house party surely won't hurt, guys." Keira's mouth curved into a smile as she looked at both me and Keisha.

"Woah! This booze is really good-" She drank more, then she also put down the cup, and took her phone out.

"I am going to take a picture!" She adds with excitement, taking a picture of the 'wild environment' at the porch.

"I'm obviously here just so that I could make sure that you'll still have your clothes on when you wake up tomorrow-" I gasped upon hearing Keisha's answer.

"Otherwise, mom would kill me!" She adds, with a sigh.

"Oh please, it's not like I'm still holding my V card anyway..."

"We're talking about the typical frat house party movie thing, Keira." Keisha deadpan.

Breathe Hazel. Slow, and easy. Breathe... just breathe...

"Chill the fuck out, would you? I get it... frat boys could be a jerk sometimes. But, not all... and not all of them would get 'rapey' and horny at every single frat house party."

Why are they talking about this? Why couldn't they discuss this back at the dorm? Why would they do this just when we are only about one step away from getting into the frat house?

"Wow, sister from the same mother, you are really that naive huh? Did you have any idea how many girls were dumped at the beach, or the side of the road way overnight, without even remembering anything, massive hickeys all over their bodies, and pain between their legs??" Keisha snorts at her sister.

And that's it. I feel like the ground is spinning around, and I am about one second away from throwing up.

"Okay guys, enough with that topic-" I said, as I reached for Keira's wrist with my hand. I feel dizzy. Oh god.

"No, Hazel. I need to make it clear to our little Keisha here who's the one that is being naive!" Keira literally just screamed at her sister.

"Listen-" Keira continued as she glared at Keisha.

Dear god, what the hell did I get myself into?

"Not all of them are the same, just look at Kat, she's nice! And there are also some of the girls in our major that are in a relationship with guys from the fraternity for God sakes!"

"Um guys? Can we just go back to the dorm please? I'm not really feeling well-" I was cut off as I clenched my fists, taking a deep breath.

Calm down, Hazel. Don't freak out... don't freak out.

"Geez, you are really naive... they basically date-rape-women, Keira."

"I feel sick..." I paled. This is a bad idea. Going to this frat house party is such a bad idea.

"Hazel, are you okay-" Keira looks worried, and so does Keisha. They finally noticed that I am on the edge of losing myself any moment now while they both are busy arguing with each other.

"Well, well, well, fancy meeting you here..." A voice from inside of the frat house suddenly said, walking towards our direction.

Fuck. Please God, not him. Not him.

"What an honor! Hazel Jones decided to bless our night with her presence." Yeah, of course he knew my last name. Sure. I could even hear the sound of his annoying chuckles as he finished his sentence.

Of course, he's here. Even though Kat already told us that most of the guys from the football team are not with the fraternity, but most of them are friends, and they do often hang out together.

"Jordan, where's Aden-" Keira blurted out, can't even hide the excitement in her voice.

"-and Roman... is he here?" She adds.

"They're inside- what is wrong with her? Period pain?" Jordan chuckles.

Oh god, I hate him.

"Shit, Hazel, are you okay?" Keisha asks, and it took almost all my energy to be able to give her a little nod, as I am still holding on to Keira's wrist for dear life.

If only I'm not feeling like shits right now, I would've thrown my shoes on his face already so that he could shut his mouth.

I squeezed my eyes shut for a few seconds, hoping that my dizziness would go away. I really do feel sick right now.

"Well, sorry to disappoint you, but I was actually about to leave-" Both Keira and Keisha were surprised, as their eyes went wide when they looked at me.

But they both just stand there in silence, even though I know the idea of going back to our dorm is not really Keira's favorite, but she did not say no as she studied my face.

I bet I look like shits.

"So, save your nonsense for someone else, okay." I added, as I raised my head to look at him. The smirks on his face immediately faded away as he stared at my face.

"Are you okay? Did someone give you a drink??" Jordan's voice seems blurry to me right now. But I still notice how he looks at the twins as his eyes darted back at me.

He looks- worried?

Keisha shakes her head, as Keisha pointed her finger to the cups on the table.

"She did drink something though, but it's just a booze-" She said.

"And I'm the one who personally took it from there, no one gave it to me."

Ughh. I shut my eyes again for a few seconds. God, I hate this. I think I'm gonna puke.

"Woah!" Keira yells as my legs weaken, and we both nearly fall down, as I lose my balance.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." I blurted out, not even realizing that someone is actually holding both of my shoulders to prevent me from falling.

"What-" I lift my head up, and it's Jordan.

"Ugh.. let me go." I jerked away from him.

"Your face is pale as hell right now, could you just please stop being stubborn?" He drew in a long breath, and he sounded annoyed.

What the hell?

"I am calling us a cab-" Keisha is currently taking out her phone from her purse, as Keira still stood beside me, looking between me and Jordan.

"It's okay... let me drive you guys back to the dorm." He sighed, as his hands reached for my shoulders.

"Uh-uh- what are you trying to do?" I stared at his face, confused.

"Let me-" He gave me a half smile, as he grabbed my shoulders, walks me to the nearest chair on the porch. I can't even say no as he clearly did not bother to wait for my response.

"Sit." He ordered, as he pushed me slowly to sit at the chair. Both Keira and Keisha just stood there in silence, watching Jordan bossing me around.

"Thanks, I'm okay... so could you please let me go now?" I lift my chin up to look at him. His eyes are on me, and I am not comfortable with this whole situation. He stared at my face in silence.

Why is he even looking at me like that?

I feel sick, and God! What an awkward position it is. I can't bear to stare at his face with him standing there in front of me while I'm sitting down here like a lost puppy. Just as I tried to turn my head away from facing Jordan, at this very moment, I could feel it there.

It's coming. It's coming, and I'm not ready.

And it all happens so fast that I didn't even have any time to react, or even manage to find the 'suitable' spot.

I puked.

"Oh my god!" Keisha literally yells.

"What the-" Keira gasps.

"I am so sorry-" I blurted out, watching Jordan in horror. Some of the 'juicy-whitey-liquid' thing that just came out from my mouth is on Jordan's shoes.

The twins burst out laughing, as Jordan froze, with both of his hands still on my shoulders.

"Oh my god, this is so going to TikTok." Roman laughs, with his phone, recording us. I could hear Jordan grunts, as he squeezed his eyes shut for a few seconds.

Roman still stood there on the front door holding his phone, laughing hard.

"Ugh! Roman!!!!" Keira yells at him, as she goes to punch his shoulder a little.

"Okay, okay..." Roman said between those small laughs. Keisha just shakes her head.

"So- sorry-" I stammered, as I looked at Jordan.

"In my defense, I did tell you to go away." I add.

"You're lucky, you're cute." He sighed, as he looked down to his shoes.

"So let me guess, you ate a sandwich for lunch huh?" He raised a brow at me, as he chuckled.

Damn. I still can't move on from yesterday's incident, and now here I am in another yet embarrassing moment with the very same person that my panty chose to land on.

"Jordan-" I tried to say, but someone cut me off even before I could finish.

"Woah! What did I miss?" Aden Cullen suddenly came out of nowhere, looking at both me and Jordan with that weird grin on his face. Ughh.

"Dude, don't worry, I've got it covered!" Roman proudly said to Aden, with that stupid grin on his face as he showed his phone to him.

And just as I tried to stand up, I was surprised when Jordan was willingly kind enough to help me, with his hands not leaving my side.

"Thanks." My voice is barely like a whisper. Well, I am capable of being nice as long as he's not on his 'jerk’s modes'.

Just as he looks like he wants to say something back to me, all of us are startled when two sports cars suddenly speed into the porch.

"Oh my god..." Keira gasps, as all of us watch that scene in horror.

Some of the students scream as they run towards the house when the car bumped into one of the tables, and all the cups full with drink are currently scattered all over the ground.

What the hell?

"Jordan-" Aden Cullen said, clenching his fists, with his eyes glued on the three figures that stood out from the cars.

"Fucking shits." Roman let out a harsh grunt.

Judging from both Aden and Roman's expression, it seems like they already knew who the hell these guys are. And so does Jordan.

"Is that-" Some guy from inside the frat house said as he looked at Aden. A few more students came out in a rush from behind him, all of them focused on looking at all the guys that just basically crashed the party.

"Yeah, it's them." Aden said, letting out a harsh breath.

Jordan immediately pushes me slowly behind him. I just let him as I try to study his expression. He looks tense.

Not only Jordan, all of them look tense.

"And who the hell is that?" Keisha asks.

"Someone who doesn't belong here." Jordan replied, his jaw tightened.

It's official.

Coming to this frat house party is such a bad idea.
