Chapter 1

Today is the third anniversary of my marriage to Hailey. I went home early, prepared a candlelight dinner, and waited for her to get off work.

After I received Hailey’s call at nine that night, I felt a bit resentful, but more than that, I was worried about her. So, I hurried out to pick her up.

When I arrived at the private club, a staff member asked me to change into a bathrobe.

“What kind of rule is this? I’m just here to pick someone up.”

I was confused.

“Sir, we cater exclusively to high‑end clients. Entering in personal clothing may compromise the level of cleanliness and quality we maintain.”

Eager to get to Hailey as quickly as possible, I had no choice but to comply. They took my phone as well.

However, the bathrobe felt strange. It was too light and flowy, and it would not even close properly at the chest.

Ignoring the discomfort, I headed straight for the room Hailey told me.

The moment I pushed the door open, a curly‑haired woman in her fifties grabbed me and dragged me inside, cheering loudly as she did.

“All right, sisters, we agreed. This one’s mine first!”

I froze in shock. Before I could step back, the door slammed shut and locked.

More than a dozen middle‑aged women were grinning at me lewdly, laughing and making comments.

“Easy there, Nancy. Just look at those lines. This one’s got quality. Save some for the rest of us!”

“Hailey is so lucky. Where did she find a husband like this?”

Some of them had already taken out their phones, pointing the cameras at me. Their faces brimmed with eager anticipation.

I panicked and shouted, “This must be a misunderstanding! I’m here to pick up Hailey!”

Nancy’s hand slid across my chest as she laughed, “We know, we know. Hailey will come once you take good care of us!”

I was about to ask where Hailey had gone when several women suddenly rushed over. Several hands lunged at me, ripping my bathrobe away in an instant.

Anger flared inside me, but before I could say anything, more than a dozen of them pinned me to the carpet.

I struggled desperately but it only made them more excited.

“Nancy, what’s the act tonight? This guy’s got some fight in him. I like that!”

A plump woman with short hair plopped herself down on my stomach and instructed a few others to pin down my arms and legs.

The absurdity of it all made my face burn red as I shouted with difficulty,

“Who are you? I’m calling the police!”

The short‑haired woman covered her mouth with her hand and laughed, “Call the police? Everyone who comes in here signs a confidentiality agreement. You’re the sisters’ dinner tonight. There’s no way you’re getting away!”

“Confidentiality agreement? What agreement? I didn’t sign anything!”

Impatience flashed across Nancy’s face. She walked over and slapped me hard across the face and scolded,

“Eileen likes tough men. I like obedient ones. Keep making noise and I’ll make sure the Spencers are finished!”

My heart clenched. She was using the Spencer family as a threat. Could Hailey have been detained by them too?

Nancy nodded in satisfaction when she noticed I dared not to say a word. She gently touched my face and said,

“That’s more like it. As long as you behave tonight, I’ll guarantee the Spencers make a fortune!”

Worried about Hailey’s safety, I did not dare to act rashly. I decided to gather information first.

At that moment, Eileen got off me, opened a bedside drawer, and handed a chain to Nancy.

Nancy’s eyes lit up. She snapped the chain around my neck and said with a wicked smile,

“Come on. On all fours. Let me take you for a walk so the others can have a look.”
