Chapter 20- Kill 'em all
Mayor Mount prepared at his residence. He would deliver a speech before the whole show went down. Today was the day they would launch the airstrike on Newland Elite Group of Schools.
Brittany had been weeping since last night. All what her husband had told her were just empty words to her ears. She just couldn't bear it. She wanted her husband to stop this.
"He was very sure of what he was saying" Brittany stopped her husband. Mayor Mount didn't want to say anything. He wasn't in the mood for this.
Brittany was talking about Raymond and his unproven plan. Mayor Mount didn't trust him. He was just someone that was overacting because his lover was infected. He was not a scientist and had no medical experience.
Mayor Mount was disappointed how his wife could let someone like Raymond gave her empty hopes. Accepting your fate earlier was usually better than lingering on false hopes.
