Mr. Cypher fell flat on his face. He turned quickly to stand on his feet. The asset planted his heel into Mr. Cypher's groin sending him back to the ground.
Hell was let loose. Mr. Cypher's men started shooting at the asset. The bullets didn't tear a hair off his body. He lifted Mr. Cypher up and put him in a headlock. The bullets from the gunfire hit him on the arm and thigh.
"Stop shooting, you idiots" he shouted at them, writhing in pain. Some of his men rushed at the asset hitting him with their gun butts. They broke Mr. Cypher free from his hold.
Raymond, Grace, Mayor Mount and some of the hostages ran out of the conference room as the asset continued maiming Mr. Cypher's men.
"What happened back there?" Mayor Mount panted as they made their way into one of the rooms.
"That's a glitch and what a glitch can cause when not taken care of" Raymond joked holding Grace in his arms. They were set to have a passionate kiss.
"You two are s
"Come out here. I only want to negotiate not to kill you" Mr. Cypher continued. Mayor Mount refused to come out."Anyway, I made a mistake trying to steal the position of Mayor from you. I would have taken the money and that's why I am speaking to you right now" he made a serious face.Mayor Mount kept listening to all what he was saying. He wondered how he had gotten out of jail. He needed to make a call but he didn't want to risk going out in the open and get shot."Wont you say anything? Do we have a deal or not?" Mr. Cypher asked desperately. "Whenever you catch your breath, find your tongue or summed up courage to talk to me. Remember, I want a hundred million dollars in exchange for your video. I won't gain anything from tarnishing your image but if you give me no choice then I will have no choice" it seemed Mr. Cypher didn't like the way Mayor Mount was reacting. His voice was dropping and rising like he was regretting talking to him.M
Raymond was a little bit confused. This was the same bar he came that day with Stan. He moved closer holding Grace hand tight. The two couldn't leave each other behind."I count like a dozen armed men" he murmured. "Why would they upgrade security?" he was still battling his confusion."Are we in the right place" Grace asked after watching him. She must have noticed his cluelessness.Grace wore a red little dress with some long stockings that ran high up under the dress. She had hair bound into a cool shape. Raymond was in a small jacket that couldn't cover the hem of his round necked shirt with a loose pants. They looked like some high school kid escaping from home to spend time together."This is the place. I just wish it's still the same occupant" he replied her gently. He wouldn't want her to be at unease. They moved closer and was making their way in, ignoring the armed men.One of the men jumped in their way holding a metal detector.
This was the biggest mistake and they have made it. The only thing left now was defeat served on a platter before them.Grace clearly had no chance against this hefty heartless emotionless asset. It was created to destroy. If Raymond was sure that Mr. Cypher would accept apologies. He would lie down flat on his face to beg for his mercy and forgiveness. It was true that luck wouldn't come when it was needed the most. Raymond was totally lost. There was no more tricks up his sleeves. He knew he was not that wise before. It was just funny how people used to think he was.Grace rushed to jump on the asset to probably attack him on the jugular. But she couldn't reach as the asset held her high after catching her neck with only one of his arms. She smacked his hand maybe he would drop her if the pain got to him. The asset wasn't feeling anything. It seemed he had been engineered to withstand pain or not to feel it at all.He rotated on the
No matter how much Raymond pressed down the accelerator, the car wouldn't move. Grace was so scared to go down and face him.Raymond stepped on the brake. The asset and the car jumped back unexpectedly knocking the asset off his feet. Raymond retook the control of the car and zoomed off quickly."I'm sorry for that, you went through a lot of beating today" Raymond said after driving fast for some minutes.Grace looked in his direction. She looked away again."I am still looking forward to the time" he talked to himself but loudly. "The time she will say something when she is like this"Grace looked at him again. She looked away, the same way she did before."Don't look at me if you are not going to say a word to me" he criticized her frequent stare. "And when did you take that syringe from me?""I'm sorry, I will ask you that later" he quickly added to avoid her incomprehensible glance. There were bangs against the trunk of the
"Stay calm and sit down" Mayor Mount implored Raymond.Raymond acted like he didn't hear him. He continued with his aimless movement up and down.Mayor Mount was not alright. He wouldn't have said that if he was. He could never calm down with what he just heard. Obviously, he didn't care about what would happen to Grace. That was why he could be calm and even made a great for them before discussing something dangerously important like this."Just sit down, please" he said again, now with a pleading tone. It seemed he had some more things to add to what he had already stirred up."Do you know what this means at all. That buyer would come after Grace and we will be helpless or what chances do we have against someone that was willing and ready to take on government" Raymond was embittered. He wished he could send them back in time and it would be the time when he was just an ordinary average mechanic. He would be prepared for any path Mayor Moun
Cover blown? To who. Even if cover would be blown. It shouldn't be this time that Grace was looking like Venus and lying beneath Raymond. That voice was obviously not Mayor Mount's. There were other people who knew about their presence here but none of them would contact them directly. That was the arrangement.Still fighting multitude of thoughts about what had just happened and what they could do. In that heap of confusions, Raymond noticed something about Grace. She was not disturbed. She remained calm and relaxed. Smiles seemed to be forming on her face starting with an emerging shape at the sides of her mouth.Maybe she didn't hear what he heard that threw him into sheer dilemma. She should have heard that. It was loud enough beyond something someone could deny.Raymond was about opening his mouth to ask for the reason behind her subtle happiness. She pointed her hands to the rear of his position. He turned to find a big TV that was on.&
That meant they had cameras and had been watching them maybe from the time they landed at the airport. For them to know his name, they would have known everything about him including what he had for breakfast.Grace pulled Raymond close and started kissing him all over his face voraciously. He wouldn't be able to think if she continued doing that. He tried playing by her rules to know what she was really planning to do."Raymond, any problem?" the man asked again facing the fierce looking man that opened the door."Oooh" Raymond moaned in relief. Raymond was the name of the man that opened the door."My bad, I thought you were talking to me. Raymond was my...." Raymond almost spilled before Grace cut in."His dog's name. Raymond was his dog's name. It was a good dog, you know and he likes it very much. He even wanted to bring it to our honeymoon here in Washington. I was like, dog, to honeymoon. A dog will be irritating me on my honeymoon. I
The only person who knew the whereabouts of the hard disk had no tongue. He even wanted to die.Since Grace and Raymond came back to their hotel room. They were the symbol of frustration."I have seen a lot of movies where cops had to punish criminals for them to open up. This is the first time I will see a situation where the suspect have no tongue. Can someone really survive without a tongue?" he was still not sure of what was going on."You saw it yourself" Grace said angrily. She seemed to be the most pained by the situation."It was just like a movie to me. He grabbed it like that and threw it to a biker appearing from nowhere. They are experts. I can't deny them that" he continued arguing within himself."We should tell Mayor Mount" he took his phone to make a call to him."And tell him what exactly, that we lost what we came all the way down here for, to a mysterious bike rider" she clearly didn't want him to call Mayor Mount.
