Contempt

Frederick Hall had no reason to refuse his fiancé’s request. He turned his head to look at the manager, who was bewildered, not understanding what was happening. He said, “You took him to pick stones.”

With that, Frederick Hall turned to Erwin Wilson. “If you like any more, buy them. If you don’t have enough money, I’ll help you.”

In fact, Frederick Hall was about to say that he would pay for Erwin, but was afraid he would feel humiliated. He could only profit, instead offering appropriate help. Sure enough, Erwin nodded, then he led the way to the front of the freezer.

Erwin Wilson pointed to his ability-sensing stone, clearly indicating that he wanted to buy it.

On the surface, Erwin Wilson is a playboy. Currently, he is also accompanied by Frederick Hall. The manager is a little droopy. There is speculation in his heart that he is Frederick’s lover. This made him shiver a little, which was uncharacteristic. He should have brought out more and more beautiful items.

After all, Erwin’s appearance was one of the kind that spends money without regret. He also bought a few crushed stones that he didn’t know what was inside. Maybe his brain also had problems.

“Do you still want to buy another pill?” The manager inquired enthusiastically, hoping that Erwin would pay attention to the other expensive items in the shop.

Erwin Wilson paused for a moment, calculating in his heart. If he decided to choose this one, then opening it to find a stone of sky high value would make others suspicious. The other, Erwin looked at Frederick Hall standing behind him, choosing to trust him in the end. Erwin believed Frederick would not be too curious about his personal privacy.

Erwin Wilson shook his head, then turned to stand beside Frederick Hall. The manager put the stone on the counter. He pouted. This boy probably wasn’t liked by Frederick Hall, otherwise why buy such a rotten thing? Even a piece of jewelry worth a few tens of thousands dare not buy.

Apparently, Frederick’s outward indulgence was only for outsiders to see. Manager scornfully thought.

“I don’t know if you want to separate the ice or find another professional place?” The manager kept a smile on his face and asked Erwin.

Erwin Wilson looked at the stone dispenser in the corner, felt that was enough, and typed it in front of the manager.

“Always stay here!”

The manager read those lines, but did not immediately call the person who poured the stone, but turned to Frederick Hall as if asking for his opinion. Frederick frowned. He knew what the manager was thinking. But he didn’t say what the old man was thinking, just nodded.

Receiving instructions from Frederick Hall, the manager quickly called in the experts in the store. His heart was thinking right now. If inside this stone is nothing or trash, Erwin Wilson will be willing to buy a few more stones to try his luck. At that point, he just had to wait and see if he lost face.

Erwin Wilson doesn’t know how to think in the manager’s heart. He looks at the amount of money in his account. It’s really very little. Obviously the son of the Wilson family, but the account doesn’t have a hundred thousand. After the divorce, the original owner still had several million, but when he returned to Wilson’s house, the brother of the original owner used the secret word to “borrow” money from him. He said to borrow, in fact, depending on the money taken to use.

Sometimes the family has financial problems, sometimes Hein Wilson needs to buy this and that. At first, the original owner was hesitant, but then, just because of a few words that seemed to protect Hein’s original owner, he changed his mind. In the eyes of the original owner, Hein Wilson is the embodiment of goodness and justice.

Erwin Wilson sneered, nice? Righteousness? If Hein Wilson was really that nice, he wouldn’t have secretly pushed with Egbert Smith. Confused with his brother’s husband, believing that Egbert Smith liked him, he blatantly harmed the original owner.

“Lack of money?”

Frederick Hall’s voice rang in his ears, interrupting Erwin’s thoughts. Only then did he realize that he was staring at his account balance on his phone. His ears turned red for a moment. He turned off the screen, then shook his head slightly.

Frederick Hall did not ask much. He nodded as if he knew. If Erwin Wilson didn’t ask for his help, he wouldn’t mind either. Like now, Frederick Hall will take the initiative to date Erwin just because it is good for their future marriage.

Everything will be perfectly arranged until the engagement next month. Frederick Hall wouldn’t let anything out of his control.

After five minutes, the stones expert arrived at the shop. The person who came was an old man in his fifties and sixties with thick glasses. His face was extremely stern, almost without a smile. Seeing him, Erwin suddenly remembered his teacher in his previous life.

The man who had come, Erwin Wilson, also stood up and walked in front of him.

“This is our usual stone pourer.” The manager smiled and introduced: “He’s Ian.”

“Ian James?” Frederick Hall raised his eyebrows slightly in surprise. He did not expect that in a place like this, he would also meet Ian James, a famous person in the world of antique collectors.

It seems that Ian is a celebrity, but Erwin Wilson’s lack of memory makes him unrecognizable. But Ian didn’t care too much. He nodded to Frederick Hall, then took the position to start pouring the stone.

The movement in Ian’s hand was extremely slow, the chisel chiseled in his hand like a paintbrush. Erwin Wilson’s eyes lit up, and now he was convinced that Ian was indeed one of the stones. Seeing the movement in his hand was about to understand. Involuntarily, Erwin Wilson became attentive to the process of Ian pouring stone.

At first, the store manager didn’t pay much attention, but now seeing Ian James being so serious, he became nervous. An unknown man like Erwin Wilson, no matter how sure he was, he would consider someone ignorant. But Ian is different. He is the representative of the stone world.
