Chapter 2

 I don't know how many days I was asleep but I woke up in a hospital bed, open my eyes, I see mommy and christ.

 Me: How long have I been here?

 Christ: uh let's say 4 days

 Me: and my father?

 I see my mom crying, so it's not a dream?  he is really dead, lord jesus, I still do not believe.

 Mom: please be strong for me, you are the only one left, please try to be strong

 My tears kept falling, it was because of that damn high school diploma that my father died, he wanted to welcome me, he wanted to celebrate my new diploma with me.

 I was confused, my father, my life, he left me

 Me: has he already been buried?

 Mom: it's you we were expecting

 Me: I want to see it

 Mom: don't worry you'll see it

 

         A few days later…

 It's time to bury my dad, I was in real pain, I watched people put him in a hole, I still couldn't believe it.  I have my mother it's true but I don't know what I'm going to do without him

 

 Me: leave him, he's going to be alone in this hole, get him out of there🥺🤧😭😭

 Christ: calm down Ashley

 The tears I shed were nothing like my mother's, we were devastated.  At 17, I had just lost my father, one of the most painful moments of my life….

 Everyone was gone, me, Christ and my mother are alone in this cemetery, I look at my father's grave very sad.  After a few hours we got home

 The house was sad without my father but I couldn't help it, he's already gone

 Mom: christ thank you for being there for us

 Christ: mom you are family to me

 Me: thank you christ

 Mom: a hard day for us but with God I think everything is going to be fine

 Me: I hope so

 

                      4 later….

 I have become a young woman, I am now 21 and I believe that I am trying to make my life as I can.  I finished my bachelor's degree and now I have to do the master's, I don't want to do it in the country, I posted in one of the best universities in France and the answer is in front of me

 

 Christ: go open

 Me: I'm afraid

 Christ: ok give me i read

 I was too stressed, I worked hard to pass this test, if I fail well I'll be in too much pain

 Christ: miss kessy, you are ..

 Me: come on, go ahead

 Christ: You are admitted to the University of ..

 Wow, I'm super happy, I'm going to be able to have my master's degree in this university, I'm a little sad because I'm going to leave my mother alone.  Since the death of my father, she has remained in her corner, no going out, not even a small meeting.  It breaks me to see her like that, she has no taste for life anymore

 Me: I am happy and at the same time sad

 Christ: why?

 Me: I'm going to leave my mother all alone, I don't know how she will take this news.  She's alone, there's not even a man in her life

 Christ: lol do you want to give her a husband?

 Me: no, I want her to find someone like that?  I registered her on a dating site, come see

 I show him the site on my computer

 Christ: Are you crazy Ashley, did your mom tell you she wants someone in her life?

 Me: orh leave me in peace, let's get out

 We go downstairs, I find her with her colleague, they are discussing a case.

 Mom: where are you going?

 Me: I'm going to turn a bit

 Mom: always you turn, come home quickly

 Me: yves (his colleague) don't you think mom needs a man in her life?

 Yves: I always tell her Ashley, but she doesn't listen to me

 Mom: leave me with this story

 Me: register on a dating site, I don't know but try to go out a bit, your work takes too much time

 Mom: Ashley ..

 Me: it's okay I understood I wouldn't talk about it anymore

 She doesn't even want to hear about men, I don't understand her, I can't replace my father, but my mother has the right to start her life again.  What mourning that does not end ah

 Me and christ we get out of the house

 Christ: good little one, I have to leave you, I have trucks to do

 Me: ok, I'm going to the neighborhood cafeteria, I'm going to have a coffee

 He leaves me and I continue on my way.  Uh I come, I sit down.  I take my coffee as usual, I want to urinate, I go to the toilet and a Mr bumps into me… ..
