“I saw Raquel pouring some substance into Vanessa’s drink before passing it to her.”

“What? What are you insinuating, Darla?” I whispered, looking around in case someone had heard what she said. Saying something like that in a situation like this is terrible.

Darla jerked her hand off my hold, “I know what I saw and what I’m saying. She came to the kitchen, poured something into one of the drink and I’m certain she gave that drink to Vanessa.” She hissed out.

“Do you even realize what you’re saying? Do you realize the gravity of what you just said? Of what you’re insinuating?” I snapped and she rolled her eyes.

“You think? I’ve been racking my brain trying to think of a reason why she would do what she did but I can’t come up with any. Raquel is the alpha’s sister and one that he just accepted at that, why would she do this? She hasn’t even gained the trust of anyone in the pack so why?” She says.
