The goddess's choice. What nonsense was I sprouting? I didn't understand, yet I didn't care. It seemed the more I thought of it, the more I desired to say it.

Also, I had heard the same voice in my head while I was out. I had heard her, and she had called unto me.

The mysterious woman didn't say her name to me, just like before, and I doubted I was ever going to know it as it was very clear that she wouldn't mention her name except I found out myself.

However, what needed to be done at the moment was helping my friends.

I felt a burst of strength within me. It was unlike anything I had felt before, and I locked eyes with Vesper.

Vesper was still in a fabric wrapped around his waist; I couldn't tell how he could fight without it falling off.

"Kelani?" My gaze shifted back to Lance. He still had a look of disbelief on his face, as if he wasn't expecting me to come awake or looking so energized.
